Spent a relaxing week here in this sleepy refreshingly un-hip beach town, which has remained mostly unchanged since my last visit 18 years ago. Our compact but well appointed efficiency unit met all our needs and then some. Comfortable bed and good bedding, a bench at the end of the bed, a small desk and chair, stools for the kitchen counter, all intelligently placed and well thought out. What stood out are the thoughtful little details— outstanding bedside reading lamps!, plenty of hooks for towels and things, a big dresser, a shower floor that tilts to the drain, excellent water pressure, a flashlight hanging by the door, a well supplied kitchen. A foot bath, outdoor shower, a place to hang a bit of hand wash, a broom for keeping the very fine sand at bay. Welcoming and accommodating hosts. Well maintained and located just off the main drag and a block from the beach. Definitely recommend.

We spent 9 relaxing days enjoying Punta Perula and staying at this lovely hotel. The key things to note: they provide excellent coffee, clean and comfortable beds, and the hotel is walking distance to everything. What more do you need? Also, the people that operate the hotel are absolutely amazing. Don't miss a chance to stay at Casa Punta Perula Hotel.
