The bathroom is not handicap accessible. A bath tub with grab bars is not Ada approved in our area. My wife is not able to use bath tub, so we will not be coming back.

Whether it is the hotel, restaurants, or bars, the service is absolutely horrible. This is the second time we’ve stayed there with the same experience. It felt like we were simply putting the staff out anytime we ordered, etc, constantly rolling their eyes. We are great tippers, so we certainly paid for their “inconvenience.” This is not the resort style atmosphere they were going for and it’s a shame the staff is so extremely rude and unaccommodating. The amenities were fine, but not worth the money when you factor in being treated poorly throughout the entire property. We will not be going back and it will only be a matter of time before others decide it’s simply not worth the trip to Southern Illinois.

My wife and I stayed in a King Room with a pool view at Walkers Bluff, and it was outstanding. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the view over the pool was stunning, and every detail felt upscale. Perfect mix of relaxation and fun—we’ll definitely be back.
