We just completed our **7th stay at Rosastays, Jeolikote**, and every single time it feels like coming back home. ❤️ The place has a beautiful, peaceful vibe that makes you instantly relax. What truly makes it special is the staff -so humble, warm, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. They serve delicious home-cooked food that feels comforting and made with love. The location is also perfect - just about a **40-minute drive to Kainchi Dham Mandir**, making it very convenient for a spiritual visit while enjoying a serene hill stay. Rosastays, Jeolikote will always be our go-to place in the hills. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

Rosa Stays in Jeolikot, near Nainital, is a hidden gem nestled in the mountains. Set in a beautifully restored old home, the stay offers rustic interiors, colourful hand-painted walls, and a truly breathtaking mountain view from the living area—perfect for a peaceful retreat. The warmth of the place is matched by the hospitality. Chef Lalit prepared delicious, homely meals that were a highlight of our stay. Every dish felt fresh and full of flavour. A big thanks to Roshan and Vinod, the ever-smiling house helps, who ensured everything ran smoothly and made us feel completely at home. If you’re looking to disconnect from the chaos and soak in mountain charm, Rosa Stays is the place to be. Highly recommended!

The first room we were given had a ceiling which was too low. I have shared the pic. Later we moved to another room, which was good and larger than the previous one. Positives: Food and service is good. Vinod - the care taker, takes care of each guests need and is extremely polite and welcoming. Food menu is simple. Quality and taste is excellent. View from the room was good. Negatives: Low ceiling room was given to us without asking. That room's pictures are not kept online. The drainage in the bathroom was not maintained, so clogging happened post the shower.

Excellent property, great views of the mountain range from rooms, amazing chef who cooks as per desire and with great taste and a phenomenal service. This property is actually 2nd home. Going forward, I will be looking for Rosastays heritage properties anywhere we travel.

Rosastays, Jeolikote is nestled in the calm and quiet hills of Uttarkhand and this heritage homestay is a perfect retreat to unwind amidst nature and experience the vibe of timeless colonial charm. During our stay, we were captivated by the peaceful ambience that pervades the entire property and the calmness away from the humdrum of everyday life. The colonial architecture and decor create an elegant yet cozy atmosphere, evoking a sense of nostalgia while providing modern day comforts at the same time. A special mention goes to Mr. Lalit, the Chef, whose culinary skills truly elevated our stay. Every meal felt like fine dining- from delicious local delicacies to perfectly prepared multi-course meals. Do try out his curated recipe of -"The Kumauni Chicken & Mutton Curry" Not to forget, equally commendable was Mr. Vinod, who provided excellent service throughout our stay. He was always courteous, attentive and went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Rosastays offers peace, elegance & heartfelt hospitality with a touch of heritage, old colonial charm and some mouth-watering homely cuisines. Rosastays, Jeolikote is a definite recommend!!

This is our 5th visit to the Cottage… never fails to cheer us up & make us happy. Everything about the place is beautiful… rooms, staff & the food. We just love the doggies and have so much fun with them, it is just pure happiness. Vinod is on hand to suggest good Pahari meals & delightful chai with pakoras.. yummy!! The wonderful views & birds in this paradise, never fail to fly past & show us their colourful grace. Always a pleasure to return … thanks to the management & staff ️

The best stay possible. One of the most comfortable rooms. The staff is of very high calibre. Vinod took exceptional care, and accomodated all our needs with great sincerity. Lalit ji, the head chef, doled out best, fresh food for us. Also, the helper boy Roshan was very courteous and always eager to help. Under Manager Jeena, the property is very well managed.

A heritage villa to rest in the quaint space with beautifully painted set up. At the edge of hill opening the door to look at the hills, well kept flowering plants and wild bird songs greeting through the day. The deluxe rooms were amply spaced, clean and tidy. Vinod was ever ready to cater the needful and the chef served us some amazing food we would order in advance as they cook everything fresh then and there. It was more than I was looking for to spend some time with my brother who was visiting me for the holidays. The best part was there was separate bed in the entrance room to sleep in separate spaces.

It's an amazing place to stay. U feel so close to Nature. All day the only sound u hear is the sound of different birds humming twitting. Weather food and service is awasome. Rooms are cozy and spacious. At a close vicinity from Nainital and Kaichi dhaam.
