What an amazing experience we had staying at Morgan Bay Hotel. The service, food and staff were amazing. Even with the maintenance work being done during our stay we thoroughly enjoyed our three nights. Food was amazing and the small details such as welcoming and bidding us a farewell in the breakfast menu pamflet was a big surprise. Many hotels can learn from this where the little details makes a huge difference. We will definitely be back, soon. Thank you again!!!

This is paradise !!! A stylish, comfortable and friendly family run hotel on the beach. Sunset and sunrise walks, incredible cuisine. Fun for all ages. A great place to socialise and for teens to make new friends. Highly recommended all year round.

The facility is a world class leader in the hospitality industry, the views are amazing with every aspect of the hotel totally unique and well designed. The facilities are also great with loads of space and place to relax or enjoy the company of friends and family. The linen is fabulous and the beds and rooms are incredible with everything you need and loads of space . The on site restaurant is also phenomenal and the staff are fantastic. A must visit

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right next to the beach, and the staff work hard to ensure everything is completed to your satisfaction. Great staff, great location, great food - what more could we ask for?

I booked an end of year holiday for my daughter and I at Morgan Bay Hotel after researching the hotel for a few years. Before our stay, I requested an area to conduct some business meetings and I was assured that I would have access to a private space. When we arrived, on the first morning, my daughter requested extra milk for our room, for tea. The reception declined her request, saying that they would send housekeeping up with some milk, but could not say when. I walked down to reception to see if I could get some milk, only to see a full jug of milk by a coffee machine in the lounge area. Needless to say, housekeeping did not bring any milk to the room, yet persistently knocked on our door 3 times a day, asking if we needed anything - yet never replenishing what we needed. There was no 'Do Not Disturb' option. Additionally, there were no private spaces for a business call which created a pressure situation for me. During our stay, I requested a table in the dining area that was not being used, and we were seated at the table a few times, and then unexpectedly moved to another table when other guests asked for our table. Then, one day, we came for the lunch buffet, only to find it had been cancelled and we were told to eat at the restaurant next door, and asked to attend to the admin of submitting our lunch receipts. The day before we left, my daughter misplaced a room key due to a gust of wind by the pool. I informed the reception, on which I was reprimanded for 'losing the key.' When I apologised, I was told 'This is the reason why we ask you to leave th ekey at reception'. I was charged R450 for the key, which was refunded when a staff member found the key. At NO TIME were we offered another key to lock our room. In terms of hospitality, I find the establishment to be staff-centric and not interested in the guest experience, but rather self-interested in their own administrative dilemna's – which I was sorting out after my holiday. I will not stay there again.

We have been camping for 27 years annually in the caravan park, and we will be back again next year. With the lagoon and beach on our doorstep, it is a scenic, relaxing and safe environment, with plenty of activities for young and old.

Blown away by this place ! Very good location,amazing views!!! Clean,interior was supper nice ! Excellent service. Restaurant was really good,enough choices for meat fish and vegetarians.

Gifted an overnight stay with summer, bed and breakfast as a wedding gift. Most wonderful location, room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Spacious, well decorated and a super comfortable bed. Food was exquisite at dinner and breakfast and the complimentary pre-dinner canapés in the lounge bar were a pleasant surprise. Beach is clean and right in the doorstep. Could not ask for a better way to start our married life together. We will definitely be back.
