Wow! We had such an incredible 24 hours at the Laindons. Perfectly situated within the beautiful Hastings old town, from the moment we arrived and were greeted by Natasha we felt welcomed and at home. The interior furnishings are sumptuous with exceptional attention to detail right through the house. Our room (yellow) was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated with a lovely bay window view. The bed was super comfy and the bar was stocked with lots of lovely bits. After a great night’s sleep Sandra’s cooked breakfast was off the scale! Honestly the nicest cooked breakfast I think I’ve ever had. What an absolutely indulgent treat our night here was. Could not recommend this B&B more highly. Definitely worth what you pay for it!

Upgrade your trip to Hastings by booking a night or two or three here at The Laindons on the High Street in the Old Town. The rooms are beautifully decorated with heavenly comfortable beds and bedding. The attention to detail is outstanding with a small box of all the little bits and pieces you might need as well as makeup face cloths in the bathroom. A wonderful selection of Tea Pigs and delicious handmade biscuits in the room are complimentary. There is also a small fridge filled with goodies. The communal living room is stunning and is next door to the breakfast room. Breakfast is as you would expect, top rate, with homemade fig jam, fresh hand squeezed orange juice and a delicious variety of dishes. We had the pancakes made with buttermilk - result - light as air. Cannot fault anything. Thank you Karen and Malcolm for a wonderful stay.

Handily located in the old town Hastings high street, this has been one of the best overnight stays I’ve ever had with my wife. Karen and Malcolm have restored and revitalised a heritage building into a haven of highest quality furnishings, attentive service and delicious food (great breakfast). Every where you look there is another thoughtful surprise. Lots of original art everywhere. You get the feeling that they have spared no expense to create their own dream home and they’re now generously sharing their experience with the general public. Top class experience without a hint of snobbery. Congratulations to them.

What a find! Nestled in the Old Town, this gem provides a calm atmosphere from which to explore the area. Amazing breakfasts, knowledgeable hosts, super comfy beds, you want be disappointed. Lots of extras that make the stay special: beach towels/sea shoes, biscuits, rock and parking voucher for each night of stay.

I stayed in their Yellow Room for work. It was without question one of the very best places I have stayed - and I travel a lot for work. Beautiful, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches - from the decor to the toiletries, the food and available bar. This place is very special. Classy but understated. The warmth and friendliness of the owners simply underline just how unique this place is. Worth every single penny and situated in the heart of beautiful Hastings Old Town.
