I had high expectations for the design of the W Edinburgh, and it did not disappoint. The hotel building itself is a piece of art; its ribbon-like twisted structure is strikingly eye-catching against the Edinburgh skyline . The interior, designed by Jestico + Whiles, perfectly blends Scottish coastal elements with modern trends. From the neon light installations in the lobby to the sofas with tartan patterns, every corner is full of creativity. The artistic atmosphere is absolutely fantastic . The mini-bar, with its volcanic rock details, felt avant-garde yet echoed Edinburgh"s geological features perfectly .
The service staff were also commendable. From the front desk to the concierge, everyone was enthusiastic and professional.
However, The pre-authorized deposit has still not been released after more than 14 working days. I understand that deposit refunds involve bank procedures that take time, but international chain hotels typically process this within 3-5 business days. Such a long delay, without any prior warning at checkout, is unbecoming of a luxury brand like W.

No matter where I am in the world, W will always be my favorite. Of course, my love for W Edinburgh is also undeniable—next time I’m in Edinburgh, I’ll still choose W. No matter how big the world is, W will always be where my heart belongs, always my first choice on the road. True love means embracing the little things—after all, it’s not that big of a deal.

酒店地理位置很好，出门就是新城和旧城交界处，楼下就是商场，到哪里都很方便。酒店服务人员很热情，房间设施很新，空间宽敞，卫生干净。推荐！
这个酒店最棒最棒的是服务！入住的时候是晚上，下了火车又累又冷，前台帮我们办理入住的Isabel非常贴心的给我们准备了各种热饮，给孩子们准备了曲奇饼干和小熊，并且亲自送我们到房间，一路上和两个孩子非常亲切有趣的互动，两个孩子都超级喜欢她！聊天中Isabel了解了孩子们喜欢的颜色和喜欢的玩具，第二天晚上到房间来给孩子们送了礼物，孩子们特别高兴！我家姐姐反复叮嘱我，一定要给美丽的Isabel大大的赞！酒店位置不错，去火车站和老城各景点都方便，早餐厅景观不错

在入住之前，就对爱丁堡W酒店的设计充满期待，而它确实没有让我失望。酒店的建筑本身就是一件艺术品，灵感源自丝带的扭曲造型在爱丁堡的天际线下显得格外抢眼 。室内设计由 Jestico + Whiles 操刀，完美融合了苏格兰沿海元素与现代潮流，从大堂的霓虹灯装置到带有格纹的沙发，每一个角落都充满了巧思，艺术氛围直接拉满 。我住的房间以深蓝色和金色为主调，搭配火山岩细节的迷你吧，既前卫又呼应了爱丁堡的地理特征 。
酒店的服务人员也值得称赞，从前台到礼宾部都非常热情且专业，让人倍感温馨 。
缺点就是酒店预授权的押金，至今已经超过14个工作日仍未退还。我也理解押金退还涉及银行流程需要时间，但通常国际连锁酒店在3-5个工作日内即可到账。如此长时间的延迟，实在有失W酒店作为奢华品牌的水准。

在市中心离这周围景点和商圈还有签证中心都很近，地理位置满分。并且在苏格兰算是特别有现代化的酒店，房间设施新颖舒适。英国一共两家W酒店，一家在伦敦 一家在爱丁堡。个人感觉打卡英国W酒店的话，爱丁堡这个比伦敦的更好，更舒适。推荐阳台景色的房间，视野一绝。
地理位置非常好！步行可达主要景点，安心冲！房间也很大，厕所的话淋浴空间很大，不过洗漱台和马桶间隔太近，略显拥挤。床垫比较软。酒店早餐也不错，提前一天跟前台预定比当天直接在餐厅挂账要便宜10英镑，划算些，出品也不错！整体体验感还是很好的！来之前看评论说酒店前台有种族歧视，原本还挺担心，到了之后遇到一个前台工作人员是香港人，办理流程都很顺利！并且一直到check out当天都还能记得住我姓氏。推荐～还有机会再次造访爱丁堡一定还会无脑选W！
卫生：
浴室水龙头有水渍，地毯有很多污垢，电视屏幕上有水渍，咖啡机的水槽没有清理干净，阳台的椅子有上一个客人留下的烟灰没有打扫干净。
服务：前台种族歧视。会因为你是中国人给你安排到差一点的房间。本来看到网上说这个酒店种族歧视我还不信的，昨天入住的时候发现确实如此。
服务：最恶心的是清洁员会在早上还没退房的时候，在你还在睡觉的时候狂按门铃把你吵醒。我睡眠质量比较好没有听到，所以我看到的是他直接刷门卡闯进过来。真不知道万豪的酒店为什么会有这种另类的服务，强制闯入看光叫醒服务吗？
没必要来住，第二天开始就不给水喝了，打扫应应付付，无语，早餐可以不用定，不是buffet 点了很久都不上，好不容易上了又很难吃，定了阳台房没什么用，view一点都不好，根本就对不起这个价格，万豪集团堕落了
优点：位置很好，楼下就是商场，出门就是王子街还是挺方便的。服务也不错，态度很好，每天送三小瓶水，两瓶不带个汽一瓶带汽的，都是玻璃瓶包装档次还是可以的，每三天会额外送两大瓶水。 缺点：预定的是阳台房，结果不是在主楼，房间不是很大，最主要的是床前窗帘后面是整整的一堵墙，没有窗户，只能靠阳台门有一点亮，挺堵得慌的。最闹心的是房间隔音非常差，都能听到隔壁房间说话的声音，楼道里只要过人就听得清清楚楚。

去两天两天大风天台不开！愣是没去成露台看一眼和拍照，吃早餐两天都说因为大风不开外面，好吧好吧，运气不好有啥办法。
晚上的酒吧很棒，早餐也很好吃，是点单制的，两天几乎把菜单吃了个遍，酒也很好喝，酒上的冰块很特别，下雨天大风天喝杯威士忌也是很不错。
