The area is beautiful with a great location and the motel felt safe while I stayed for a long weekend with my 2 teenage daughters. The room itself was not clean and smelled heavily of mildew that never left. It hadn't been cleaned anything beyond simple sink/toilet wipe down in years. Unfortunately the dishes had fuzzy mold growing on them and a roach in the bathroom. Walls, corners and ceilings were filthy. The room was advertised with a balcony / porch but the door was permanently locked. I'm a bare bones traveler and travel often. Simple rooms are fine, but dirty is not.

There are two separate buildings for this stay. You check in at the smaller building that the GPS takes you to, but you may be staying across the street if you request the bigger rooms. Each building is nice and clean, staff is courteous and they accommodate you no matter what, and no complaints are had.

Small room but clean. No s yr aff or no way to speak to management. Rusty elevator did not work so climbing 2 flights of stairs with luggage was no fun. A 2 star motel at best.

Labor Day Retreat

Last minute solo trip for relaxation. Excellent view of ocean from front balcony. Room was clean. Biggest issue was door hard to open due to moisture. There was no ice machine. No elevator working which made the 4 flights of stairs to my room a little more challenging but overall I would stay again due to proximity of beach and dining.
