We unfortunately did not get to go to stay at the Holiday inn Express because I got very very sick and we could not make the trip. The booking would not allow us to get a refund because and we paid in full which I will never do again and then they wanted extra money for a plan in case we had to cancel the trip. The price of the one-night stay was $246 and I did not want to pay another fee on top of that.
We had to absorb this one but will not happen again.

It was slightly off-putting that the first experience I had with this hotel was informing potential guests that the pool was closed and if they weren’t okay with that, they could be refunded and stay somewhere else.
I also think it’s misleading to call this hotel “St Louis Area” - when it’s 45 minutes from downtown St Louis and in another state.
Also, we weren’t informed that there would be masonry drills hammering in our ceiling at 6am. I was terribly surprised at the amount of noise transfer between floors and rooms for such a new hotel.
They also seem to have ongoing construction, which left construction dust and drywall dust in the air and on many surfaces throughout the hotel. Maybe seems like they rushed to open.
What positive things I can say is that the staff was kind and it was convenient for what I needed, which was a hotel in Alton for one night.

The front desk was prompt & friendly not only at check-in & check outs but with answers to any questions & also during just the normal leaving & entering the hotel for outside activities!! The food provided for breakfast was outstanding & the cleanliness of the area was kept very clean throughout the entire time that it was available. The size of the room itself was very comfortable & having automatic control of the heat & air with a wall thermostat was definitely appreciated. Our trip was enhanced by our stay at your hotel. Thank you.

我们一直都很期待入住伊利诺伊州奥尔顿的假日快捷酒店。酒店员工热情友好，乐于助人，尤其是前台的伊丽莎白。我们抵达时，她热情地迎接我们，并说很高兴我们再次光临。她还记得我们三个月前来过，甚至还提到了我们之前两次来这里参加的聚会。伊丽莎白真是洲际酒店集团的优秀代表！因为我们的家人住在附近，所以我们还会再来，而且假日快捷酒店是我们唯一会选择的下榻酒店。
我们不得不等前台人员帮电话里的顾客搜索圣查尔斯地区的酒店。通常情况下，商家会帮助到店并已付款的顾客，而不是帮电话里的顾客去其他商家。
这个地方很新，也很干净。游泳池还没开放，孩子们有点失望。早餐种类也很少。我们浴室的填缝很粗糙，看起来像是匆忙完成的。
