We recently stayed at Garden Court Solan, and it turned out to be one of those rare family experiences that lingers long after you’re back home. We booked the entire property for the trip with extended family, and from the very first moment, it felt like the space belonged to us—unhurried, peaceful, and deeply welcoming. The service truly stood out. Anmol, Raju, and the rest of the team were consistently polite, attentive, and always there. Every need—big or small—was taken care of quickly and with genuine warmth, not the mechanical kind. The rooms were lovely, thoughtfully done, and comfortable, while the property itself was absolutely breathtaking, open views, and a sense of being wrapped in nature. If there’s one thing to be mindful of, it’s the last stretch of the journey. The final 15 km involves a narrow hill road, which can be a little challenging if you’re not used to driving in the mountains. But once you arrive, that concern fades away very quickly. All in all, a beautiful stay, made special by the people who run it. A place we’d happily return to—with family, time, and no agenda except to just be. Deepa
