After reading a bad review, we were unsure whether to book but it was unwarranted because our stay was wonderful! The host was welcoming, helping us with a restaurant booking nearby. The room was the largest we have stayed in since travelling around France. It said online it had air conditioning but it had a fan which was sufficient as the large room was very cool.

My family and I stayed at Chateau Gautoul during our bike trip organized by French Bike Tours. We loved this place! We were hosted by Serge who was wonderful! He got us organized in our 4 rooms and served us our family style dinner in his fabulous kitchen! Our rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable! Our dinner was not only delicious, but so fun! Serge introduced us to my favourite cheese from this France trip, Rocamadour, and to his wine from his Chateau Gautoul vineyard, Je Jazz! Next morning, we were able to tour his wine process! Highly recommend a stay at Chateau Gautoul along with a bottle of Chateau Gautoul wine!
