Not enough accommodations for all of us even though the number of people and availability was confirmed by the staff. Horrible food, no flavour at all. Horrible owner, almost got us kicked out because we asked for the number of promised accommodations. No towels, the shower was clogged or broken. Avoid at all costs.

A nightmare. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! We arrived at the hostel and we find nobody at the reception and we didn't know we had to enter with the self check-in (it's not written anywhere on the main page of the hostel). For the payment they wanted us to come back at the hostel at 8:00 p.m. and it was not as advertised on the page of Agoda (the check is supposed to be between 16:00 and 23:00 so we could do it anytime and not only at 20:00). It was a problem for us since we had a reservation at the restaurant. After that the lady texted me telling me to be at the hostel for the payment but we already have left for lunch and she kept being rude. Tha lady on the phone kept sending me rude messages telling that she was not supposed to work ""only"" for us and that we had to compromise for the time. We did not and at the end, after complaining, we had the chance to pay our room when we came back in the evening. She kept sending me messages such as "ended the year very well and I don't want to hang out with you." and "everyone worked only for you, no" In addition to that the hostel was basically empty (a bit scary) and there was no surveillance. The room was dirty, full of dust, hairs and cobwebs. In the toilet there was not toilet paper at all and we had to wait until the evening to get it. The staff used a very primitive and rude language. It was really uncomfortable. In my opinion they should close the hostel since they hate having customers! I don't recommend this place at all!

Burg Hostel is a classic hostel in the city center of Sighisoara. The people who work there are very sweet. The location is in the historical center of the city. The beds where nice and the room was very good. It is a very good place to go when you are in this cute city.

Great central location in the old city, it has a spacious kitchen downstairs, a large dining area, decent warm rooms and friendly staff. All in all I've no complains considering the low price and would recommend this place.
