Gorgeous place to stay. It is in a renovated palace with fabulous architectural details. It is also very close to town. The breakfast was homemade sweets and Sara made an omelette for us. Unfortunately, it ended on a bad note with Sara closing the place from 1-3 on Sunday without offering to help us with storing our luggage nor assisting us with transportation back to the train station. She was done with us very abruptly leaving us with no place for our luggage and no way to get back. Make sure if you stay here you find out the details of your departure and transportation. Silvia at Enotria Enoteca was our angel and stored our luggage for us so we can walk around the town. Then a nice local man Michele from Naples gave us a ride back. Also, it seems like Sara doesn’t know many people or restaurants in town. She referred us to a horrible harbinger place when we said we don’t eat red meat. We found Pane e Vino on our own and Antica Tattoria which were incredible. Ask the locals where to eat. In summary, beautiful place and very clean. Make transportation and luggage storage ahead of time and find your own eateries.

Our first time in Italy and this was a perfect stay for us. Charming & clean property. Comfortable bed which helps with rest before beginning the next day. Sara was helpful with restaurant recs and scheduled a driver for us. Sara also serves a delicious breakfast. We loved it and hope to return !

A group of 3 couples stayed in 3 of the 5 rooms at this lovely property. They are all decorated differently and each have their own charm. Sara is an outstanding host serving us breakfast every morning and checking on us during our stay. The location within the walls of Cortona is perfect. We will look forward to another stay in the future. Thanks Sara!

A truly stunning location in a beautiful town. This has to be one of the most beautiful B&B's we have ever stayed in. The rooms was large, amazing ceilings, decor, size of bed, cleanliness and overall quality. A big bathroom with lots of facilities. The breakfast was a very nice selection of croissants, breads, cheeses, hams, jams, fresh coffe etc. The B&B is in the centre of Cortona so you do not have far to walk to all of the shops, cafes and places to see. Sara the owner is lovely. She was amazing in arranging a taxi to collect us from the station and to then arrange one at short notice to get us back there a few days later. Just a little warning, taxis are not plentiful, so if you are coming in by train it is well worth booking these out in advance.

Location, location, location! This charming B&B was located in the heart of the city. Beautiful B&B in an old palace that dates back hundreds of years. Sara, whose family owns the B&B was a wonderful host! The breakfast was delicious each day—her mom even made fresh croissants and other delights each day for the guests! The room was spacious and well appointed. Air conditioning was nice, even though we hardly needed it. The bed was comfy, the atmosphere was calm and quiet at night. Sara went out of her way to accommodate us. She entertained us at breakfast each day with stories of her family and her life growing up in Cortona. She made us feel like more like cousins than American tourists. We will definitely stay here again!

This is a luxury experience with a family feel. Sara was the ultimate host. She gave us di ing recommendations which were fabulous. We had a lovely breakfast and cappuccino every morning. When our rental car had a flat she helped us arrange transportation to pick it up. Lovely place. I can’t wait to return.
