We had a lovely stay at Phong Nha Farmstay. It has a really relaxed and friendly vibe and a lovely quiet position outside the main village and overlooking rice fields and grazing buffalo. Our room was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the menu with a variety of really delicious home cooked dishes. The staff were wonderful and a special mention to Long who was fantastic and such a pleasure to talk to with many insights into Vietnamese life. They are particularly good at suggesting and helping to organise activities- Tang duck farm was great fun and not touristy which we enjoyed. The stand out experience was with the Phong Nha riders and a personalised tour to the botanic gardens ( waterfall walk), Commander Cave - amazing and strongly recommended with hardly another visitor; and Paradise cave which is amazing.Overall, this was one of the two best days we have had in all our adventures so far in Vietnam- it was beautiful, historically interesting and felt tailor made for us. A big thank you to Long, Ben and all the team!!

I had a nice stay in this room! Great value for a large room with a patio, comfortable bed & air conditioning. It is on the main street in Phong Nha. The host was helpful in arranging a taxi & bus heading south. The host also let me check in early in the morning after arriving by bus! Thanks again!
