It was very nostalgic. Room was clean, but straight out of the 50's. They still provided a physical key to enter the room. Bed was comfortable. I would stay here again.

Vintage hotel with a good vibe and great location in downtown Dubuque. It's not luxury but it's pretty cool.

Old School Hotel in Central Downtown
This is an old property with many dated features, but overall was ok. Friendly staff and located in a central downtown location.

Check in was easy. Staff very helpful. Very old building with alot of charm. Can walk entire downtown area. No frills. Bar/lounge felt like a Frank Sinatra hangout. Fun karaoke.

Solid Historic Hotel
It's an old hotel with a lot of history in a very solid location to explore Dubuque. Great value for the cost. Probably wouldn't bring my family here, but would stay solo again without a doubt.

My first room was freezing cold with no way to make it warmer. Also, you had to climb over the toilet to access the shower. Thankfully they moved me to a warm room with a normal bathroom.

Didn't catch the name of the lady who checked us in, but she was very nice and we appreciated all her suggestions for things to do in the area. Room was very clean with the exception of the bathroom. It had a used towel hanging on ghe back of the door and there was hair on the bath tub drain.

My husband loved the quirkiness of the place. I felt it smelly heavily of cigarette smokes. On check-in, we were supposed to have queen room and they had given them all away. We had to take a full size bed and we barely slept all night.
