Stayed at Mount Xanadu recently with family and had an amazing experience overall. The resort is beautiful, peaceful and perfect for both kids and senior citizens. The staff are extremely polite, helpful and always available with a smile, which made the stay feel very warm and welcoming. Food was delicious with good variety, and it suited both kids and elders in our family really well. The overall ambience of the resort is calm and scenic, with lots of greenery and well-maintained spaces to just walk around and relax .We stayed for three nights – two nights in the dome stay and one night in the royal suite, and both were awesome in their own way. The dome stay was a unique experience, especially with the hammock inside which gave a surreal, close-to-nature feel. The royal suite was spacious, comfortable and luxurious, and the kids particularly loved the Jacuzzi at night – it became their favourite part of the stay.Some memorable highlights were the rooftop garden viewpoint, the high tea with a stunning view, and the 5:30 am trek inside the resort which felt refreshing. Another big plus was the outdoor turf where we could all play football, cricket and basketball together as a family, which made the evenings really fun and active. Overall, spent the holiday very well here and didn’t really feel the need to go out much as everything for a perfect break was inside the resort itself. Mount Xanadu is highly recommended for a peaceful, family-friendly holiday with great hospitality, food and views.

We stayed at Mount Xanadu Resorts as a couple for our anniversary, and it was truly one of the most memorable experiences we've ever had. Nestled atop the serene Cheengeri Hills in Wayanad, the location itself is breathtaking — panoramic views of lush green valleys greet you at every turn, especially at sunrise and sunset. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and friendly staff who went out of their way to make our stay special. The hospitality was impeccable, with genuine smiles and helpful service throughout — from check-in to dining and every little detail in between. The ambience is simply amazing — peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a romantic getaway. The resort’s design blends luxury with nature seamlessly, making it feel like a private hideaway.

I've stayed here for 3 amazing nights. Mount Xanadu has one of the most beautiful locations I’ve ever stayed in. The scenery feels straight out of a postcard with endless green hills, misty mornings, and views that make you stop and stare every time. It’s the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy nature. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely made me feel welcome. Their hospitality really added to the experience. Food was amazing, all freshly prepared and in my case as a foreigner they were able to adjust the level of spice. If you’re looking for stunning views, peaceful surroundings, and great service, Mount Xanadu is absolutely worth it.

Stayed at Xanadu on a weekend. The resort is located on a hill top with some amazing views of the river. Staying here is absolute tranquility and relaxation. The resort has 9 rooms. The rooms are spacious and have lookout balconies for the views. The entire resort is clean and well maintained. Snooker, foos ball, table tennis, gym are swimming pool are the amenities in the resort. I used the pool in late evening and found the visibility in the water to be very low. The staff at the resort are very courteous and attended to all requests with a smile. A special call out to Mr. Mahesh the manager at the resort who gave a courtesy call couple of days ahead to the trip and shared his number in case we require any info. The restaurant serves authenticated Kerala food a long with a few North Indian and continental dishes. The food tasted good. Being a resort with minimum guests, the food must be ordered 30 minutes ahead. This ensures good and fresh food. Overall, a very relaxing and pleasant stay at Xanadu.

This is our 6th visit to Wayanad and 1st visit to Mount Xanadu. Booking was for 2 nights. We stayed in room 401, which is a round tent with outdoor jacuzzi and a balcony with a view of the valley. The room/tent was spacious and well maintained. The washroom is a bit cramped and hardly any space to keep dental essentials, which is understandable coz its a tent. Our booking was for 3 people, but the dental kit and other basics were provided only for one person...We did not request for more, coz we had carried our own. We had taken the breakfast and dinner plan. The food was delicious. Dinner plan is recommended coz there are no restaurants close by. The resort in a few kms from the town. There were sufficient changes in the food menu on the second day. The restaurant manager (Forgot his name) was very courteous and helpful. The other restaurant staff was also very helpful. All in all a good experience though a tad bit expensive compared to the other resorts we have visited, considering the resort facilities, location etc. One thing that made me give 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is the bad experience with the lady at the reception (The one with the short hair). Firstly she was rude at the time of check-in, unwilling to answer questions readily and it felt like she was doing us a favor by checking us in. On check in we were told that we would be provided some complimentary snacks in a few minutes. (They had forgotten to keep the snacks in the room at the time of check-in) A couple of hours later my son called the reception and asked about the snacks... The lady (The same rude one mentioned above) disconnected the call without even acknowledging the request. The next day i called for an extra towel and was again spoken to rudely with a grunt for an acknowledgement. Same happened again to my son when he called the second day for some information about an activity. Setting aside the bad experience of interactions with this particular person....the resort is good, staff is helpful.

Worst resort. Rude staff. The rooms was fine. The location is nice. 0 management. Staff is not cooperative at all. Worst food. Very slow service. Trainees are managing most of the work Don’t waste your time and money visiting this property.

Unfortunately, your group repeatedly failed to cooperate with our staff and house rules. We received multiple complaints from other guests regarding disturbances caused at the reception area due to loud and disruptive behavior. Additionally, our housekeeping team observed damage to the A/C remote and telephone, and food stains on the bedsheets caused by eating meals in the room—resulting in avoidable damage, which we strongly feel did not happen accidentally. While we provide baby food as a complimentary gesture for infants, it was misused by being repeatedly requested and consumed by adults, despite it being clearly designated for babies. Regarding food service, it is important to note that it was part of your complimentary package, and several other guests expressed dissatisfaction specifically due to the excessive wastage caused by your group. We welcome constructive criticism and are committed to providing a positive experience for all our guests. However, we also expect basic courtesy and cooperation with resort staff and policies, which was unfortunately not observed during your stay. We ensure 100% of our services are delivered to our guests in a very professional yet heartfelt manner. In the same way, we give equal value to our staff's dignity. Therefore, we will stop all services that go beyond what was originally committed. Management is aware that this happened to you solely because of how you acted at our property. Exceptional experience staying in Mt Xanadu resort in Wayanad. Location and drive to the resort was great. Staff were very kind and overall excellent in all aspects be it front desk, massage, buggy service, food. Did a late night check out conveniently (something I didn’t expect in Wayanad) and Melvin at front desk helped us very much. Also coordinated w me very well. And every other staff helped so much always being kind: Rinju/Rinsi (breakfast, dinner), Arunima helped us w showing the resort, Ebin as the manager supported us so humbly and Hiba did a fantastic job w the massage. Couldn’t meet everyone in the end, but I am very grateful for all of them making our stay very memorable. The food at breakfast and dinner was fantastic - team accommodated everything we asked. The pickles were amazing (please ask for them). The games entertainment areas are plenty. We played snakes and ladders, TT etc and enjoyed a lot. The buggy service was always there for my mom who couldn’t walk long distances and it’s such an amazing thing every driver helped. We took the Kings view room and it is the tallest point in the resort and it was amazing. So many little things to see and do and the viewpoints from everywhere is awesome. Next time again, we wil stay in Mt Xanadu resorts. Thank you!!

The food was exceptional in its spread, taste, and freshness. The outdoor activities were adventurous and well-planned, with the short trekking being a particular favorite.
