I took myself for a short solo vacation to bike the Cape Cod Rail Trail and enjoy the Sea Street and Cold Storage beaches in Dennis. This hotel was perfect. A small room with everything I needed, close to both the beaches and the start of the rail trail. I really like that there was a fully stocked and operational kitchen anyone could use with a coffeemaker (although I'd love some tea bags to be inlcuded too1) I ended up going out to eat the whole time, but if I'd stayed longer, I certainly would have cooked myself a meal or two here.

The Starlight was charming! The rooms are beautifully decorated. Karen, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. She suggested great restaurants. She also has 2 great dogs. We enjoyed petting them and talking with Karen. The pool had just closed but Karen told us it is heated so we’ll have to go back!

The room was charming. The staff was friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool was 85 degrees. There are beautiful grounds with plenty of space. Had a great visit. Thank you

The Lodge had a great pool and easy access from Route 6A. Unfortunately the bathroom was so small and cramped and the shower and tub were so dated it was gross. Our floor was Vinyl tile and was Filthy, like it had not been mp[[ed in ages. The bed was awful. So uncomfortable we didn't sleep a wink on either night. Would never stay there again just for that. The staff was courteous and friendly and the location was great but it really should have been more like $59 a night vs. the $200+ we paid. Very disappointing.

Had a very disappointing stay at the Starlight. The room we stayed in (118) was very dirty and smelt of mold. Upon arrival the room was not cleaned yet so the owners went in with a shower caddy and cleaned it for 30 minutes. Upon entering, there was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom and I even had to clean the A/C filter due to the smell. The floor was grimy and left a black film. While the room may have been 'cleaned' upon arrival, the conditions allude to long term neglect. We checked out after our first night and I requested to be refunded for the evening we did not stay. We were told that we couldn't be refunded because we used *******, however ******* agents worked with us to try to get refunded to no avail (starlight did not pick up the phone). I emailed Starlight with images from our room and they have not replied back to me. I definitely would avoid staying here as they do not take care of the property and also do not work with you when unsatisfied. Positive images and reviews have been very misleading.

This is our 4th visit to Starlight in Dennis and its never been anything other than exceptional. The staff is not just just welcoming g, but friendly, courteous and goes above and beyond. Although truth be told, there is really not much more we needed. Signage is great. Good communication with staff and someone is always accessible, should you need anything.

My son and I had a really nice stay at the Starlight Lodge in mid-August. It's in a good location, the property is nice and quiet; we really appreciated the pool, and the lawn with games, grills, fire pit, etc. The room itself was small (especially the bathroom, which was tiny), but it had clearly been somewhat recently updated, and was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!
