A truly stunning house, incredible attention to detail, we were greeted by the lovely owners Marie and Roger who couldn’t do enough for us. Our bedroom was large and airy, beautifully decorated and spotless. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The bathroom was huge with a lovely assortment of toiletries. The breakfast room was a delight the breakfast itself beautiful. All in all a real special find

We stayed at the Angel Tree on our way down to the South of France and were delighted with our discovery. A beautiful and ancient town house with a wonderful garden. Our room was extremely comfortable and our breakfast delicious. Marie and Roger were charming hosts and we hope to have the opportunity to stay with them again.

This is a really lovely place to stay. We were made very welcome by our hosts who had kindly booked us in to a good restuarant just a short walk away. Our room was spacious with it's own sitting area and the large garden was fun to explore. The house has been carefully restored and furnished to retain it's charm and character.

What a truly wonderful place to stay in the centre of Montmorillion. The hosts Marie and Roger were delightful and greeted us like long lost friends. We were a group of seven on a cycling tour and having secure storage and a power point for an electric bike was perfect. The rooms were a good size, spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. I was very fortunate to have the garden room, which has a little lounge area which was tastefully decorated, as was the whole accomodation. Breakfast, served in a delightful room just off the garden, was the best we had on our tour.... lovely spread with more than even a hungry cyclist could consume..... In summary, I would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends alike.

A hidden gem, right in the centre of town. Filled with charm, flair and genuine warmth, Marie and Roger are perfect hosts and their home is a little oasis. We stayed in the garden room for a couple of nights, which was spacious and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was generous and delicious - fresh patisserie, fruits and hot coffee. We'll definitely return and stay longer next time so we can take advantage of the lovely pool and enjoy the peace of the amazing garden. Montmorillon is a great town with lots to do and see, and also the perfect base for exploring further afield. Thank you Marie for a perfect stay and your warm welcome :))
