Didn’t know what to expect but were very excited for Glamping. Didn’t think about no electricity or internet! Tents were very well constructed and kept us dry. Had to keep the fire going to stay warm. So feeding fires all night long isn’t great for sleep Other issue:right by freight trains tracks that blow horns multiple times at night and near freeway. They did give us earplugs. The staff were wonderful and the grounds very nice. Using lanterns and showering with one hand as the other pulls the chain just isn’t for me. Glad we did it but won’t repeat! Close to Glacier and Josephine’s (terrific restaurant)

We are two 78 year olds who thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Under Canvas Glacier. Glamping was on my husband's bucket list and we couldn't have picked a better place for our first experience. The staff was amazing. The tents were comfortable, if rustic which is what we looked forward to. The location was perfect.. very close to the park and other attractions nearby. West Glacier village had a number of good restaurants, one being Belton Chalet. The Embers Cafe on site had a very limited menu, but everything was delicious. Special shout out to Hannah and Scott.. we enjoyed interacting with them.

just as all the reviews mention, the highway and train noise is significant and therefore do not expect to sleep. the staff was friendly but seemed preoccupied. the food was very good considering the "camping" aspect of the camp. very expensive. we had to leave early due to no sleep exhaustion. not recommended.

The place was very nice and accommodating. The only downfall to this place is it is very close to a busy highway which makes it difficult to sleep at night if you are a light sleeper. They do provide ear plugs for you, but the highway is busy. We did enjoy the tents themselves, but would probably only stay a few nights, not for a long vacation.

酒店回复: Hi Mary B, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the tents and the property. We also appreciate your honest feedback about the proximity to the highway. We understand that noise can be a challenge for light sleepers, and while we do provide ear plugs to help, we recognize that it might not be ideal for everyone. Thank you again for staying with us - we hope to welcome you back for another great stay in the future.

Under Canvas Glacier is located near a highway and a railway. What a noise! At arrival they provide you with earplugs ! The tent was leaking. No fresh towels were provided. The facilities are very poor. Don’t go there!!

酒店回复: Hi Peter, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. While our location offers close proximity to Glacier National Park, we understand that the nearby highway and railway can create some noise, and we provide earplugs as a courtesy to help guests rest more comfortably. We sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered with your tent and amenities. A leaking tent and lack of fresh towels are certainly not the standard we strive to uphold, and your comments have been shared with our team to ensure we address these concerns promptly. Thank you again for sharing your experience.

Stayed one night in late June. All staff were friendly from check-in to check-out. The beds were amazing, and there were plenty of blankets. Had a wood burning stove, personal fans, chargers for electronics, and 2 lanterns. Bathrooms were clean. Our kid made s'mores and attended a friendship bracelet class. There were plenty of games, line dancing, and a small cafe open until 10 pm. Campfires, corn hole, and even a guitar for those who play. 24 service up front. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and apple cider are available. The cost was $295. Overall, it was a cool experience.

Had a great experience at under canvas with my family of four! We enjoyed grilling out and playing games around the fire. The train was louder than expected but the ear plugs they gave us really helped. The bed was comfort but the pullout couch was very uncomfortable for my children.

I did not hate it, but It was not great either - like a good idea which was not well implemented. This was meant to be a luxurious "safari tent" -like experience and it was priced as such, but the accommodations were uncomfortable and making guests comfortable is what luxury stays are all about. The property has failed to provide good quality sleep - it was very noisy at night with the train horn waking us up every few hours ( I slept with noice cancelling headphones on) and there was super loud highway as well. they placed earplugs in the room, but that was useless Also there were very stiff, uncomfortable and cheap pillows. For the price we have payed you would expect a luxurious bedding and those pillows were unacceptable. The furniture, while very aesthetically pleasing, was not comfortable to seat on. Other less important things- there is one hairdryer for the whole camp which we were supposed to use and then bring back to the lobby tent - is a very cheap hairdryer. This was very inconvenient The community fireplaces - not convenient at all. We had to go up or down the road to get there and most nights the seats around them were taken. There should be opportunity to have personal small fires by the tents. It would have been so nice to relax after running/ hiking all day by the fire and watch those beautiful stars and then go to bed. The food was not bad, but the restaurant ambiance- it felt like an afterthought. The location was convenient for the West Glacier visit. The interior of the tent was very pretty and the camp area was overall nice. The bathroom facilities were always clean, and even though the nights were cold, the blankets were warm and the fireplace in the room was great to have. There were plenty of clean high quality towels. The tea and coffee in the lobby were also high quality and great to have. I was recognized as Hyatt globalist and given a credit to use during my stay. So, in conclusion I liked how the place looked, but it wads not comfortable. I will definitely try other locations of Under Canvas as they there is a potential and hopefully they are better. However, there is a better clamping experience around.

Really enjoy the Under Canvas experience. Staff was polite and accommodating. Food at Embers was good. The facility is too close to highway so it takes some getting use to the loud road noise
