We had a great two-night stay here over NYE. The staff was very warm and helpful. The room was comfortable and well appointed. Everything looks really nice! The hotel has historic charm and thanks to the renovation it doesn't feel dated at all. We enjoyed breakfast, free for Gold/Diamond members. And as EV drivers, we loved the free EV charging in the back (using Tesla magic-dock level 2 chargers). Overall, this was a great stay in a lovely hotel.

A Hidden Gem by the Miami River – Perfect for Miami University Families and visitors to this area of the world. We had an incredible stay at this beautifully decorated hotel, housed in an authentic historic building right on the banks of the Miami River. The charm of the architecture combined with thoughtful interior design made it feel both luxurious and welcoming. Despite the hustle and bustle of the nearby pumpkin festival—just 100 yards away—our room was blissfully quiet, offering a perfect retreat after a day of festivities. The staff clearly take pride in their work and in maintaining the hotel to a high standard. Special thanks to Joey, who made our visit seamless. She ensured we had everything we needed and offered fantastic recommendations for local sights and dining spots. Her insights truly enhanced our experience. Highly recommended for families visiting Miami University or anyone looking for a unique and relaxing getaway.

The property was beautiful and the area around the hotel adorable, with restaurants/bars close by. The gym was excellent! We will be back.

Employee who helped in breakfast area was rude to my girlfriend and myself on 2 different mornings. We dismissed it because it appeared he may be autistic. If he is not, he needs some training on customer service.

Flew in from the west coast for a day and a half conference and, with the schedule had to arrive a 7am. They were more than accomodating and had my room ready to go when I got there. Staff was great, very helpful and friendly. They do have a morning breakfast that was ok but a bit uneven. And the room was very comfy and not your typical layout...really liked it. Have to return to the area next year and will plan on going back.

The Well House hosted our board members for an evening as we were in town for some important board meetings. The rooms were impressively modern and clean, the location was perfect (right across the street from the Fitton Center for the Arts), and the staff was gracious and helpful. I plan on staying again next time we're in Hamilton.

Easy check in and spacious room. We were able to check in early to prepare for an event, which was much appreciated. Our room was clean, but it did smell musty (it's a really old building, so we weren't surprised). Otherwise, all was ok for a one-night stay.

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Not sure if robes and slippers were supposed to be provided as there was 1 pair of slippers for a 2 Queen room. Great parking set up. 2 EV ports out back. Breakfast (paid) was good. What was considered continental breakfast was coffee and tea only per the cook.
