This hotel is less than a year old and is a welcome new addition to the Sterling, Dixon, Rock Falls area. It is upscale for the region and has a modern, playful design. The hotel is comfortable, spotless, and appears to be under excellent management. I had a great impression of every staff member I met. Both breakfast and parking are complimentary, as is 24-hour hot tea and coffee. It is conveniently located just off the major east/west tollway between Chicago and the Quad Cities and a short drive to downtown Dixon. The section of Interstate 88 between Dixon, Rock Falls, and points west is toll free. Its location provides easy access to the other major highways of routes 26, 30, and 2. This was my first time staying here, and I was very pleased to have found it.

Excellent hotel on I 88. Very well maintained, beautiful lobby, clean rooms and other areas. Rooms are well maintained, bed was very comfortable, really liked the shower cabinet. The view of a highway and farm was beautiful. Check in was quick with all the necessary information. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Here is one thing i want to mention, here the staff always greet you. They are thankful that you are staying at their hotel. Breakfast was great. Breakfast lady Roberta was polite and very helpful. I have been to many hotels, but you will not see General manager. But this place is different. General manager came to me while having breakfast and asked me about my stay and overall experience. He was taking the feedback very carefully. Both Brittany, Seri, housekeeping staff, general Manager Omkar are excellent. looking forward to staying again in Tru by Hilton Dixon.

The room was good, the hotel was clean and new. The staff was good and attentive. Our air conditioner made a noise that kept me up all night. Had to switch rooms the next day. The food was good as well.

The room was clean and nice. Property appears to be fairly new, so area around doesn’t have much landscaping…but that’s not why I was there. Bed was super comfortable. But the curtains!! They had a BLACKOUT SHADE that actually worked!! I can honestly say, this is the first time I have ever slept good in a hotel room! The only slight problem I had, was the faucet in the bathroom. The handle needed a simple repair (a set screw needed tightened). I notified the hotel staff when leaving the next morning. He took a note and said he would have it fixed. All of the staff was very friendly and courteous. It was a wonderful overnight stay at Tru by Hilton!

No one at check-in and wasn’t apologetic about my waiting for check-in. Third floor room, 302, was noisy, lots of popping by the front door. Had no idea what was causing the sounds.

When I arrived to the room, there was trash in the trash can in the bathroom, urine and toilet paper drying in the toilet, and a used towel hanging on the wall.

The hotel itself was nice and very new looking, bright and seemed clean. The breakfast was ok, items changed different days.
