We just arrived here today and the staff has been absolutely amazing and so helpful and accommodating. We flew in from CO for a memorial service but didn’t find out the service had to be canceled until we arrived at the hotel due to the freezing storm weather that’s predicted. Michelle and De’Quan at the check in counter were so understanding and helped us with changing our reservation since we have to turn around and fly right back out tomorrow due to the upcoming storm. We decided to go into the dining area to grab a quick bite to eat. The staff was outstanding, especially Hannah. They took our order and our food was brought out to us quickly. Everything was delicious! Hannah even fixed my grandson a little to go box for the room. We are extremely pleased with the staff, cleanliness, food and hospitality here at the Double Tree! We are very impressed and we will definitely be back as soon as the services are reset! Don’t hesitate to book your stay here! You won’t regret it and you will be treated like family!

Our waitress Katie was the best. So professional, yet very personable and friendly. Cannot say enough nice things about her. We loved having her as our waitress!

Forgot to say that the water in the room costs $12 per bottle. Beware! We were tired and thankful to have a place to stay, but, otherwise it was too expensive for the cramped room.

Overall, the stay was nice because the staff was so helpful and friendly. We had a couple of minor hiccups (as always happens) and they took care of it quickly. The facility had recently been remodeled - it looked modern, nice, and clean. I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice restaurant and a nice bar! The service was excellent, and the food was great. It may have been the highlight of our stay! I had 2 big concerns: 1. I was charged a $12 per day parking fee! Not for valet, or to park in a secure area, but for the privilege of parking in the lot. That was ridiculous - particularly for a Diamond member! We were there to visit family and wanted to stay nearby. It's not like we were within walking distance of the beach or Historic District! 2. No complimentary breakfast? Wait....no breakfast at all! They had a full kitchen in the back and could have handled that easily. There was a Starbucks Coffee Bar and snack counter inside but that makes a poor substitute for a nice breakfast. Fortunately, there was a Waffle House across the street. I grade it: A+ for the friendly staff! A for the facility - nice! A+ for the restaurant and bar - the highlight! F for no breakfast F- for the parking fee.

I had the opportunity to stay here stay here and eat at the restaurant for 5 straight evenings. I tried multiple food items all of which were fantastic and delicious! Nate and Katie were staff members I had the pleasure of interacting with. They are both exceptional by any metric! I also met quite a few other hotel staff members; the entire team was always polite, courteous and polite. Quite the change fron the previous establishment. The hotel is immaculate and well.laid out!

The staff at the front desk were great. The room was comfortable and cleaned every day. My favorite part of staying there was the lounge/bar area. The staff was amazing and always attentive. The manager, Hannah (?), was super friendly and conversed well with all the guests. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who visits.

Michelle and her staff were so helpfu;l and gracious and more than went out of their way to accommodate our 3 teams for the weekend of games in Wilmington. Although we were their first team-guests, they were prepared and helped out so much. their communication, suggestions, outreach etc was terrific. The staff or very nice and help with small and big things. Rooms have been updated very nicely and always clean. Restaurant on site is a plus and seafood restaurant across the street is a must while staying
