I was very excited to finally have a new hotel in Hoover. I go to Hoover several times a year to visit relatives and I have always had a difficult time finding a new clean hotel. I usually stay at the Hyatt Winfrey which is costly but very dated and very filthy. This Hilton Garden Inn just opened and all I wanted was a nice clean experience. Once you step off the elevator on the upper floors, the smell of raw sewage permeates the hall and elevator. And throughout the night in the hotel rooms the stench becomes progressively worse. This is not normal. The management and staff will gaslight you. But ask the other guests and they will confirm it. I am never staying at this place again. There is obviously something seriously wrong with this place.
