Our one challenge is that we booked two queen beds for our stay, and the staff confirmed we were in a two queen room. But the beds must have been the smallest queen sized beds I’ve ever experienced. It was definitely strange.
Other than that, the hotel is a great location to drop your things and get out into the area and explore. Great location to also get a good exercise walk outside before your day has started. And good food options to walk if you are too tired to go back out in the evening.

Parking was available in the front back inside the room was perfect and two queen beds for handicap. People breakfast was great. Couldn’t complain about anything.

Switching to Marriott.
My blind was broken and my bed looked like someone else had slept in it. We checked in very late and I’d already changed rooms because the blind was broken so I told myself the sheets were left in the drier too long and went to sleep. It was an awful feeling. My daughter had another room and her mattress was broken in the middle and she kept falling in the hole. We are switching to Marriott for our next night on this journey.

Room was clean but tv remote didn’t work. Breakfast was bad. Western omelettes for eggs - with ham. I’m vegetarian. I asked if there was another option and response was rude. Coffee tasted terrible. Overall I’m not loving the Tru “hip” vibe.

It has everything you need and the rooms are so clean. Showers are great and the rooms are cold, which I love so much!

Good location, short drive to Wilmington. A lot of places to eat around, Walmart across the street. Room was spotless. Service was really good. I arrived early and they were able to get a room available for me. The manager was super nice and helpful. Clean rooms and bathroom.

This hotel was pretty basic but clean and was close to shopping, great restaurants and downtown Wilmington. Breakfast was nothing fancy but still good. Loved that the lobby had plenty of sitting areas for us to relax, hang out with friends and play on the pool table. Kids liked the indoor pool as well. Staff was super helpful and friendly. If I had to say anything not so positive, we didn’t have any clean towels when we arrived(thankfully I noticed before I showered, honest mistake) and staff members smoking right outside the door by the elevators. Still glad I booked this one. We had a great weekend.

This property is convenient to Wilmington but honestly everything you need is right here! Great shopping options, restaurant options, home furnishings if interested in looking / shopping. Really good spot!
