Hotel in general was good, bordering on great. Hotel and room were clean. But there was one exception. One of the two rooms that we had, when we sent to but clothes away underneath the TV set, we found an old and smelly McDonald's bag. When we contacted the desk, there we apologetic and stated they would waive the prepaid breakfast fee. Unfortunately as I write this, they have not. But then to further complicate matters, both rooms had prepaid breakfasts included. Low and behold after we get home and check the bills, we were charged again for breakfasts, a total of seven of them at $15 each when they were supposedly included in our package. So far, only one has been refunded. Speaking of breakfast, your options are a buffer or cook to order menu. I was a little disappointed in the buffet. Their Tru brand has a better buffet. This location has eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruit cups, cereal, coffee and tea. Go to a Tru location as there is eggs, sausage, pancakes (sometimes waffles), cereal, juice, milk, coffee, tea, and fruit at the buffet. Plus Tru has 24/7 coffee and tea, the Garden Inn, which is supposedly "better" did not. In terms of the rooms, we requested two double queens. These queen beds were definitely not queens. I surmise that they are full sized beds. The noise level in the hotel was exceptional even with a cheer competition staying in the hotel. Overall atmosphere was good, but the bid sizes, being double charged for breakfasts, and not being refunded on on of the breakfast packages, make this location fall short of great. We'll see if the refunds they owe actually come to fruition as I sent the location an email about those issues.
