I booked a King Room and checked in online via the Hilton app, and selected a room... when I arrived at the hotel I was told that they didn't have any King rooms available and I would have to take a double. I informed the front desk clerk that I had already checked in online and selected room 420 and just needed to pick up my keys to which she responded "oh, that room is out of order for maintenance"... well why did the app let me choose it? I literally didn't check in online until around 5:00pm, so it's not as if housekeeping hadn't been there yet. As I approached the elevators in this "newly built" property, one of the elevators was also out of order. Anyway, I get my key to my double and get up to the room and get comfy for bed, only to find that there is no remote for the tv to turn it off... and I wasn't about to get dressed again to go down to the lobby to ask for a remote. There was also no "do not disturb" signs so I had housekeeping knocking on my door all morning. One final thing that irked me with this particular location... when I went down to the lobby for breakfast in the morning, the front desk clerk was wearing house slippers! At least the bed was comfy, the AC worked and the shower had hot water.
