Arrived here on 25th May 2024, having booked 3 rooms and having the booking confirmed. We were 3 friends attending the Blackpool Dance Festival. We set off early as it was Bank Holiday weekend & had a lovely lunch in Lytham on the way. On arrival, I rang the bell. No answer. Rang it again. No answer. Look through front window. Deserted - and by that, I mean abandoned and empty. The rear window was hanging off as if it had been broken into. Rang the number listed - answering machine. Left a message. No response. We were unable to procure another B&B for the night and ended up getting changed in the back of the car in a Blackpool car park like a bunch of homeless people so we could attend the festival. No alcohol for one friend who had to drive us home in the early hours. The following day, on checking their Facebook page, it appeared they closed the month previously without letting any forthcoming guests know. Bad form!

We booked this hotel for a lady we support and her support staff for a couple of days, as it was her birthday however her break away was ruined by her stay at this hotel. To start of with when they arrived the hotel had no recollection of their booking, we had booked two double rooms, only to then be given two single rooms. The rooms were full of damp which is a health hazard. On leaving the hotel the manager claimed that the booking had not been paid for, when the confirmation of this was clearly printed and evidenced on paper which was shown to him, he then began threatening the ladies with the police and that he will get them blacklisted - very unprofessional!

The sea front is just round the corner there’s loads of places to eat right near there the coach station is 2 mins away you have got everything all in one place the rooms are very clean and the breakfast is amazing there’s tea an coffee in the rooms a shower toliet etc

Stayed here two nights whilst visiting the theatre, very friendly hosts, room and breakfast was all we needed. Good value for money, will definitely stay again. Chaps running it now we’re very attentive all our needs. Great place.

I absolutely loved our visit to the Rhyl, George and Andy are amazing and made us feel sooooo welcome, couldn’t do enough for you, rooms very comfortable, was a pleasure staying with you both, we will most definitely be back, thank you both so much.xx

Had a fab stay at The Rhyl! The wonderful gentleman who run the B&B are a credit to the hospitality industry. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, I felt taken care of. The breakfast was delicious, especially the coffee! Room was clean and exactly what I was looking for as I was attending an event. Considering how close the B&B is to the seaside, it was VERY quiet. 15 minute walk from the Blackpool North Train station, and less than 10 minute walk to the pier. The prices are very fair as well. Would strongly recommend booking here! Can't wait to stay again guys, thanks again for everything!

George & Andy are friendly hosts and offer homely facilities, which, if you’re like me and simply need a comfortable place to lay my head and a good breakfast, then you really can’t go wrong with the Rhyl. If you want frills, book the hotel with frills. If you want a simple and very affordable space where you’ll be looked after properly then this is as good as anywhere. Really hope I’ll be able to come back soon!

Absolutely amazing stay with George and Andy, they made us all feel so welcome☺️ accommodating to every possible need, both absolutely lovely, made to feel so welcome some b&bs we have stayed in before when at the bar the owners don’t interact with you but not here both sit and have a chat and laugh with you. Rooms lovely and clean breakfast is A*, very close to everything

Had a great stay here,Andy and George were amazing host,made me very welcome. Room was very clean and bed comfy,breakfast was well cooked and a good portion with fresh filtered coffee,would definitely recommend.
