The parking was good and safe. Breakfast was traditional English and excellent.

Nicky and Jim were great hosts, on call if required. Immaculate clean room with a great shower, had plenty of breakfast options. Quiet area with no disturbances in the night. Would highly recommended

I stayed two nights over the May Bank Holiday weekend. My room was a reasonable size, and extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable and cosy - I slept really well! Bathroom sink was a little small but the shower was very good. I had a delicious hearty Breakfast both mornings which was served in the lovely characterful converted school room. My hosts were absolutely lovely and very friendly - thank you Nicky and Jim for a lovely stay.

A great find. Perfect location. Stayed at the b and b for 1 night (work trip). Accommodation is perfect. Has everything in the room you need. We had the bedroom overlooking the church. A very pretty room. Plenty of parking. Recommended a great local pub for dinner. The Duck - fantastic food. Provided us with an early breakfast which was really appreciated. Breakfast was in the old classroom. Beautiful room. We will definitely book to stay here again if we are back in the area.

Stayed for the one night. Lovely place, excetionally clean and beautiful breakfast. It's a shame there's not a pub in the village in walking distance, but plenty to choose from not too far away 3-4 minutes in the car. Will certainly have no hesitation staying here again when in the area.

Nicky and Jim are top quality proprietor and consequently a stay here either for a night, in our case, breaking the journey from Cornwall to Chester or perhaps for longer if exploring the area, will be well worth while. Peaceful, clean and a super breakfast. Why stay in a soulless branded hotel when you can stay at the Old School house??
