Lovely old pub, pleasant staff and a very nice area. 1 or 2 minor issues with the room that we just got on with, but if we had mentioned I’m sure would have been sorted. Excellent value. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in is directly above the bar and restaurant so be aware of this if you are planning an early night/early start. All was quiet by 11pm on a Friday so no issue for us at all.
Highly recommend the restaurant, courteous and friendly staff and fish and chips / soup were fantastic

A magical space, beautiful and peaceful! The staff and accommodations are perfect. The food and drinks wonderful. Definitely stop here if you can.

Amazing!
The location is breathtaking, staff are amazing, everything is super clean. But their kitchen… OMG! Forget about London fine dining just travel here instead. Best steak in the UK. And definitely try the duck. Or anything from the desert menu. Absolutely fantastic food! I would and will go back.

Attractive pub with friendly staff. Large beer garden and plenty of parking. Tasty food, although seasonal veg (in August) was only a small helping of cabbage. Rooms were small and a little worn in places, the patio area was a good space to sit in. Good breakfast.

What an amazing place. Ashley greeted us with a big smile and showed us to our room. The room was beautiful and clean.
Our breakfast was so tasty and presentation was spot on. Nothing was too much.

Great place to stay and relax.Only 50 min from Bath.
Hotel has all you need,quiet,green area,lovely garden with tables and chairs to have a glass of wine and enjoy the view.
Hotel offers breakfast but quite pricey for what you get on a plate...
