As at the time of writing this review I’m still lodged in the hotel that’s how pissed I am and tryna vent so I can help anyone that is planning to lodge here. The staffs are the worse they never try to make anything work it’s as if they don’t want to do any work and never even go out of their way to ensure their guests are comfortable and happy. Let’s start from the booking process. I came with my friend who is an America and her card wasn’t accepted on the booking website so I had to make the reservation even though she was a member of mariott. We got to the hotel explained the situation and receptionist would not even make any attempt to help our situation. She said we have reserved and must pay even when we asked if there was a way to not use the booking and rebook physically using her details so we can get the discount since she was already a member she offered no solution or even options. Some of the staffs are nice to foreigners and rude to guests from Nigeria talk anyhow unnecessarily rude few of them were nice and that’s why I gave them one star. Your hotel being nice and fine is the barest minimum your service is what should be top notch at least imo. I called room service as advised my kitchen staff so I can microwave food my mum brought for me at the hotel room service said they can’t microwave my food and the funny thing is they don’t offer any solution their day is final. Bro I paid 418K for 3 nights and you can’t microwave my food? As if that’s not enough they stalk you while eating to pick on little things. We were two adults in a room and we can’t even bring our breakfast that we are entitled to into our room. We can’t even go downstairs and pack the food if we don’t feel like eating at the restaurant. Anywhere you go all the staffs tell you is No you can’t do this or that. I’m used to hotels giving you options and tryna make things work not saying No like you’re God almighty. The one they did that was the final blow and I’m never coming back to this hotel I’d rather stay in a low quality hotel with better customer service than being here is. I had my brother come join me for breakfast which I was going to pay for, and my friend we lodged together had the free breakfast, I ordered cause I didn’t like anything in the menu for breakfast that morning while I was waiting for my request I took a bite of food from my brothers plate cause I was hungry and next thing someone is at my desk telling me it’s not allowed I’d pay for the bite. Like what? Even when I kept to myself and complained about the issue and how it makes no sense she was embarrassing me her name is Esther, she goes to call someone and that one comes and starts raising her voice embarrassing me cause of food. Where in the world do you pay for taking a bite of food from someone’s plate, I paid for that buffet. This hotel is the worse, I have not talked about how there was rat poop and the curtains dirty like it hadn’t been washed for ages. You see this Warri it

A pleasant hotel
I enjoyed my stay here.
My bedroom was large and comfortable.
Breakfast was very nice though I didn't try the restaurant for dinner as I was visiting friends and they preferred to take me local places.
The hotel was clean and friendly.
Would go back again if I'm staying in Warri.

Excellent hotel. The location, ambience, cleanliness, etc all work well. I only suggest that hotel staff stop begging customers. Almost everyone I encountered found a way to beg me money. It was quite challenging.

Horrible Management Experience
The issue with contemporary hotel management lies in the failure to honor advance bookings made by guests. On two occasions, the hotel relocated my reserved room from the main building to the hotel extension.
The unfortunate aspect was that the air conditioning never effectively cooled my room. Paying around $85 per room night with the air conditioning not functioning is simply unacceptable.
The hotel management attempts to reserve the main building room for guests arriving on the same day without prior reservations in order to charge higher rates to those customers.
I have learned my lessons on two occasions, and I will not make the same mistake again.

The hotel is in a safe environment and easy to access. Excellent hotel staff with very good buffet style breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended hotel. Marriott Bonvoy members can redeem their points to lodge in the hotel.
