Arrived late SJO and happy to get out of city to spend the night at hotel Los Rios on the way to Caribbean beachfront. Affordable, next to beautiful river, restaurant was open late enough for dinner and a drink, offers pool and fitness, and more comfortable beds than anywhere else we stayed!

Room was clean. Housekeeping came every day and change our towels and fix our beds. Very convenient to have the restaurant close to the Hotel rooms. Breakfast is served and you can eat lunch and dinner there also. Food is good .

I loved this hotel! During my stay, the weather was rainy but the hotel had everything I needed! Staff was so sweet and helpful, and the property is absolutely beautiful!

Beautiful river behind hotel. Property landscaped with care. The beds are very comfortable. Restaurant is open all day with good selection . Staff very helpful. Front gate to property has guard for security.

Fantastic walking paths around the rivers surrounding the hotel, lots of birds. Very good food at the restaurant.

This would be a great place for a wedding. It’s all set up. The river and property is quite lovely

Suite smelled moldy and they wouldn't refund us
We booked the deluxe room and then was told there was no AC in it so upgraded to suite and paid extra.
When we went into the suite it smelled of mold really bad so we went back to the front desk to ask if we could have another room.
They put as back in the deluxe and didn't refund our money for the upgrade.

We were always willing to help you and provide you with the room you chose, even if it wasn't that one. the one you had reserved, we regret the inconvenience.

Fairly quiet for being right off the busy highway. Not a place that I would want to stay for vacation but it was acceptable for stop over. Good breakfast included.
