My wife, myself and a friend are just home from a weekend spent at the Kempt Country Inn, formerly the Whitman Inn. Located less than 5 minutes from the gates of Keji, it was the ideal location for two glorious days snowshoeing in the park. We stayed in the very well equipped housekeeping suite and prepared our own meals with the exception of breakfast which was provided by Marc and his wife, the new owners of the Inn. From the great breakfast, the comfy beds, the games room ( large smart tv, pool table, table tennis etc), cleanliness and friendliness, it was the perfect weekend escape. There is also an indoor pool which looked very very nice indeed! Planning to return in the Spring already.

We had two nights at this B&B and found the owner very welcoming. We chose the hunter room which we found very quirky with a Moose duvet. The price was reasonable and it was handy for the national park. They also have a games room. We got a bonus when staying as a bear was seen on the front lawn attacking a trash bin.
