非常喜欢这家酒店！地理位置很好，酒店建在一个高地上，马路对面有条楼梯可以直接下到市中心。市中心有市场、超市和汽车站，从那里可以搭乘巴士去科钦，我们就是这么做的。巴士从早上7点到晚上7点，每半小时一班。酒店很干净，床单洁白如新，住了三晚，虽然我们没要求，但他们还是给我们换了床单。员工非常友好，他们为我们安排了两天的包车游，去了茶园、埃拉维库拉姆国家公园和瀑布。早餐也不错，是印度菜。总之，一切都很满意，员工非常热情友好，尤其是前台名叫Angel的女孩。

The purpose of this trip was to enjoy nature and experience the calm that Munnar is known for. Unfortunately, a series of poor choices led to a disappointing stay — starting with booking through ***********, travelling during a long weekend, and finally, selecting this hotel. To be fair, the hotel itself is not terrible, but there are several important points potential guests should consider before booking. The property is located at a busy market junction. During peak holiday periods, the road outside is so congested that taking your car out becomes a challenge. Even a simple walk outside for a cup of tea feels stressful rather than relaxing. If you are expecting scenic views, a balcony, or a peaceful atmosphere, this is not the place for you. The staff are not particularly warm and enforce some unusual and restrictive rules — for example, only one bottle of filtered water per room, regardless of the number of occupants. Even with two guests, an additional bottle is refused. Breakfast is extremely basic, repetitive, and poorly managed. Although breakfast timing is listed as starting at 7:30 AM, even at 8:15 AM items were still being brought out from the kitchen. There was also a clear lack of wait staff available to assist with water, refills, or basic service. The rooms had a noticeable mouldy smell. While the staff eventually tried to accommodate us, this only happened after significant miscommunication between teams, which further added to the frustration. Overall, the general atmosphere and attitude felt off throughout the stay. The experience left a very bad impression, and for the first time ever, we chose to check out early.

Isaac Residency offers a refined and comfortable stay in Munnar, with well-maintained, spacious rooms, pristine linens, and spotless bathrooms. The attentive and professional staff ensure a pleasant experience, while the prime location—just a 5-minute walk from the market—adds convenience. Ample parking, a well-stocked bar, and a designated smoking area further enhance the comfort and practicality of the stay.

I didn’t visit, but the overall booking experience and the behaviour was so terrible. I booked a room via *********** and before that I tried calling the phone number and all the staffs were busy and they promised a call back and they didn’t. When I called again asking about the room, the staffs behaviour was not at all pleasing. Kinda rude tbh. I booked the room via *********** because of the only reason that it in the picture of deluxe room in hotel, a bathtub was seen. But unfortunately when they reached me after so many days, I asked them whether it is available. They were like bathtub is only available for honeymoon suit, if you don’t want the room just cancel. What they are trying to do is bait and switch. A correct example of false advertising and misrepresentation was done here. So I cancelled the booking.
