If you had the misfortune of staying in some of the run-down hotels in Myrtle Beach, this is a different kind of hotel. Everything worked in my room, and the mini refrigerator actually kept my drinks cold. There is a complimentary breakfast in addition to free parking. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Two of the women who were working on the front desk were very pleasant and helpful to us - Jordan, who helped us with a remote that was stuck and the door to the deck that was stuck and Jo who helped us with wonderful recommendations and helped us figure out how to get over to the beach in the afternoon so we could sit and read… then we had a great discussion about YA literature!!

we were under the impression that we had free parking when we booked it through *******. Period when we left they did not have our receipt ready so they emailed it to me and they charged me $72 and change for parking. I was not very happy because that was never even mentioned.

the common areas are decent. the rooms are a little beat up and really could use a refresh. breakfast was not bad. location is good as is Dunkin next door.

This site says free self parking, I book the hotel, they want daily fee + tax per day for parking. I complain about this at check-in, the assistance manager says not their issue, take it up with your booking company. He claims third party providers do this to trick customers. All third party sites show free parking. The young woman at the front desk was very pleasant and tried to be helpful. I called the hotel's parent company, no flexibility. The property does have free parking during the off-season. The room assigned had a broken air conditioner, was moved to a different room and it was fine. The general manager, later elected to waive the parking fee. If most of your customers drive to your property, include the add-on fees into the cost of the room.

The property was Clean and well maintained, conveniently located. Staff was pleasant. Food staff was friendly but did not enjoy sausage and eggs
