Myself, my Brother and my Daughter arrived and was met with a very warm Irish welcome from Kathleen. The b&b was beautiful and in a stunning setting. The rooms were very nice, clean & very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was lovely too, nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend this fabulous place and would love to visit again.

4 of us stayed here last night and it was a fabulous stay. Rooms were spotless and beds were very comfortable. The lady of the house went above and beyond for our stay. She was a fantastic hostess. Will definitely be back. Great value all around.

This bnb is lovely from the outside and has beautiful gardens .I stayed here for 1 night. The smell on entering at the main door was the smell of damp. This bnb is very old fashioned left behind in the 80s style and reminded me of going to my grans house... .Now it's spotlessly clean.A bonus .But our room stank to high heaven of chemicals used to clean like you smell in a hospital or nursing home.... It was so strong thats all i could smell causing me to have a migraine headaches. I had all window s open all night and still couldn't sleep as a result and also the noise of cars and trucks passing heading to the port just made it worse .Was like sleeping on the motorway. As it's one busy road. It's 3 miles out of town and the local bus is a good walk from the bnb.You have to walk back down to the main roundabout.A taxi back to the n bnb was almost impossible to get another negative .Had to get a hotel receptionist to help try get me a taxi and they rang a few for me. As none on the street s at all. We had to wait 1 hour for a taxi to pick us up .Positives were ..The shower was electric and had fantastic power.. The breakfast was fine and hot.But no options were offered etc. The hostess was a lovely friendly lady as many have already said. But this bnb needs serious updating as its been left behind in a 80s time warp..

On a motorbike trip of Ireland and myself and my brother chose to stay here after our trip to Dublin and whilst navigating the South East of Ireland. Although the room was a little tight for us and our motorbike kit, it was more than made up for by the hospitality of Kathleen. It was like staying at our Granny’s house the fuss she made of us. A 15 minute walk down the road to a hotel with bar and dining meant we could watch the football which was a bonus and we got our steps in. Breakfast was excellent and we especially liked the bacon and sausages. All in all a great stay at a great price. Don’t forget cash though as no card machine present.

A lovely b&b with lovey rooms & gardens but not close to Wexford town so you need transport really,a local taxi service is available, the Full Irish Breakfast sounded tempting but we had a 6 am alarm for the ferry port at Rosslare which is only 20 minutes away, even though we had a early start Kathleen the wonderful host got up and made us tea & toast, the continental selection looked very nice, the rooms looked very nice and next time we are in Ireland this will be a first port of call

Glenhill bnb was the perfect place to crash after a long trip on the ferry to Rosslare. We got a lovely welcome with warm tea and biscuits. Felt so very welcome. The room was very clean, spacious, had a great shower and the next morning we enjoyed a complete and very fresh Irish breakfast. Kitty is a fantastic hostess. Highly recommended!

About 20 minutes from the ferry - as you turn left the B&B is on the right side of the road. Unfortunately we missed it - stopped at a Londis and the gentlemen inside knew the B&B and gave us good directions. Our room was upstairs - there was a double bed and two singles in the room. A couple of nice armchairs and also a table with two chairs and tea & coffee making facilities. Fresh milk was available in the the fridge downstairs. It was raining when we arrived and as I had difficulty walking because of a foot op that I couldn't get wet, we decided to eat the sandwich we had left over from lunch. The lady did offer to make us toast which I thought was very kind. Bed was comfy and the shower was hot. Breakfast was ok.

Nice B&B with enough parking space and very close to the heritage park. We had a clean room with a hair dryer. The breakfast: good selection, the host served the Irish breakfast, the rest was there to choose. Also not very far is the Johnstown castle, worth the visit.

Glenhill B&B (Barntown) Wexford was everything I imagined an Irish country B&B experience to be. Our host Kathleen was welcoming and friendly and went the extra mile. Nothing was too much trouble. She even asked how we would like our poached eggs to be cooked. Glenhill is exceptionally clean and well presented. The beds (one queen and one single) were very comfortable. It's about a 10 min drive from Wexford town and there is a hotel (for meals) about 5 mins at the next round about. The only thing I would say is that it may be difficult without a car. I am not planning on returning to Wexford in the near future but if I was to I stay there again and would certainly give this place the thumbs up for anyone considering staying in the Wexford area. Thank you Kathleen.
