This is my second visit and I adjusted my itinerary just to stay here. Cannot rate it highly enough. Fabulous old old house that has been restored and made beautiful and functional by Emina. The roof top terrace has views to die for and both sunset and sunrise are magical up here. She will feel you some of the best meals of your trip - breakfast is mind blowing. Make a stop. Next time I am staying a few days.

We stayed here on 19 and 20/04/25 This is one of the true gems that my wife and I have come across on our travels around the world Emina is an incredibly generous and well informed host who eagerly shares tips with her guests The dinner and breakfast are divine and very generous You definitely will not go hungry when you stay here The included karak tea was delicious This an ambitious B&B housed in a tastefully renovated old Al Hamra building with a lot of character and history I have already recommended the place to friends and family and my wife is doing the same to fellow tourists we meet

This is a fabulous boutique hotel bed and breakfast in the old part of Al Hamra. The most wonderful bed and rooms and entire space! Super welcoming owner who bakes fabulous bread and puts on a fabulous dinner and amazing breakfast. The place is a restored building that is probably 300 years old and she has tastefully decorated with her own beautiful photos and quirky decor. Really cannot recommend highly enough and I will be back!

The house is set amongst beautiful mountains Comfortable clean spacious room. Fabulous rooftop terrace. We had the best breakfast and a very kind generous host. We visited amazing sites within easy distance from the village with a guide recommended by the host. The village is interesting because of the neighbouring open house museum.

A lovely stay in the heart of Al Hama, an old Omani town at the base of the Hajar mountains. The hostel is a tasteful refurbishment of a three-storey mud-brick Yemeni style house, nestled amid similar abandoned and crumbling houses in the village. Our room ooze rustic simplicity (log-thick doors) and comfort, and meals served in the dining room included freshly made local dishes. The relaxed home-stay feel was added to by the sweet dogs at the premises belonging to the hostel's owner/ manager, who was courteous and attentive to guests. The central location is perfect for itineraries which will continue north to the mountains or south towards Nizwa and onwards.
