I stayed here for six nights in room 6, from 18 December to 24 December. My stay was very good and comfortable. The service was excellent, and my sleep at night was very good. The hotel was very busy because of the Christmas period, but the staff were still very friendly and helpful. I had breakfast on a couple of mornings, and the breakfast was nice, well cooked, and with good food choices available. The staff were more friendly than many other places I stayed in over the last six months. The manager was very cordial and polite, both with the staff and with the guests. Even during busy times, they gave attention and priority to every customer. I had a small request because I usually slept late until around 12 or 1 pm, so I needed room service later than usual. I spoke to the staff, and they helped me promptly without any issue. The room quality was good, and overall I was very happy with the service. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this place to other travellers.

Following a two night stay at the Travelodge - Emersons Green, Bristol, I will never stay in a Travelodge again. Apart from one individual, Szymon - who was so helpful, the rest of the staff seemed abrupt and not engaged with their customers. The bed was the smallest double bed we have ever slept in; the breakfast fare was uninspiring and the toilet paper appeared cheap. In addition to these issues, the soap dispenser in the shower was empty.

Stayed here a few times and won't be staying here again. For the second time, no one on reception to check in. And then the room was filthy. The icing on the cake was the sheet on the main bed, which i only noticed while laid in the smaller bed trying to get our daughter to sleep 🤮 Absolutely disgusting. And I wouldn't use the appliances in the so called Super Room, unless I wanted to catch something. Nice "quieter" room facing the motorway, what a treat to listen to the boy racers flying past at all hours, on top of drains gurgling away at midnight, and people chucking dishes about at 1am. Managed about three hours sleep. Good job there's about ten others to choose from as won't be returning here.

The hotel was very bad for noise. Police kept going out with sirens on. Crack in bath. Shower head was good. Quiet floor was noisy for super room. No lid on Lazara machine and was not clean. Cups were too small for drinks. Hotel never answered phone calls. Staff were spread to thin. Would rather do tea caddies than serve guest. Very poor

Room lovely. Very comfortable, good bathroom, comfortable beds. Very clean. Very good sound insulation given that you are sandwiched between the motorway and another major road. Good car parking. Felt safe walking around late at night. Room could do with instructions on how to work the climate control as the room was a bit hot and it was really that we just didn't need the heating on, not that we needed cooling. It took us ages to persuade the control panel that, really unlike most of the UK population, we don't need a room at 22degC for sleeping but prefer it to cool down like we would at home where the heating goes off. And given the location, opening the window is a tad noisy (as well as ungreen); actually it showed how good the sound insulation is when we did resort to letting some air in. Major issue was that we were using the place as a park and ride and wanting to get the bus into Bristol. Firstly, you have a fairly long walk around McDonalds and Greggs etc to get onto the major road and then turn back on yourself to actually be able to cross the road to get to the bus stop! And the roadworks on the bridge over the motorway have closed the pavement from the bus stop back to the hotel on the way back from Bristol so you have to cross the major road THREE TIMES in order to then do the several minutes walk past McDonalds etc. We could see the Bristol-bound bus stop from our room; sadly it took about 15 minutes to walk to it. How about a stepped path up the bank to the road so you can get directly from the door of the hotel to the pedestrian crossings to get to the bus stop? We cannot have been the only people using the hotel to go to a concert in the city centre; it's such a convenient location just off the motorway to meet up, dump cars, check in and get onto the really good bus service so you can avoid parking fees and have a few drinks. The next day we got the bus into town again to get the train to Bath as driving there is a nightmare; again the really irritating walk to and from the bus stop that was so much longer than it needed to be.

I had a really great stay at this Travel lodge. It was a great location, easy to find with a Greggs, Costa and McDonalds and plenty of parking on the doorstep. The room and facilities were spotless and all of the staff were super friendly and really helpful, especially Ance who checked us in when we arrived. My Aunt had accidentally booked us a double room instead of a twin room, but Ance fixed it for us straight away! Thank you Ance! The breakfast was lovely, with all the usual full English and continental options and a coffee machine and the restaurant area has a bar. Last time I visited Bristol I stayed at the Premier Inn, which was good, but next time I visit Bristol I will definitely choose to stay at this Travel lodge again.

The bar is the cafeteria , if you’re looking for a drink after work go across the road. with most Travelodge, one staff running the show front of House , the kitchen and running the bar . Staff where ok breakfast was shocking just sat there in trays. My work booked me here for two nights , not again , positive there is greg’s , costa , mcdonald’s all across the road , saving grace

Great free parking provided you are there early enough. We had to wait until 15.10 before anyone came to the desk to give us our key, but we were able to choose the floor we wanted to be on. The room was very tight for space with no drawer unit to put anything that couldn’t be hung up, so had to rely on suitcase, even though there was possible space to put a drawer unit under the bed! The room was clean and modern. I was surprised to find a biro in the bed when I got in at night? The bed was otherwise comfortable. Breakfast was adequate but nobody bothered to explain where things were and the bread was tucked away in a drawer unit! The drinks machine had a knack about it that another customer had to explain to us. The sausages had a lot of rusk in them but the bacon was nice and soft. There was a good choice of food. This is very much an ‘in and out’ establishment.
