Clean facility. Quiet evening. Saw a large 8 point buck on the property. Manager was very accommodating. No elevator. Had to lug heavy suitcases up to the third floor.

This was a last minute choice as we visited the Black Hills/Rushmore area. It's generally difficult to get 3 single rooms at the last minute, but the desk clerk was extremely helpful. We had tried to use a site, but failed. She got us that rate. And to top it off, it's an extremely charming and cozy place. The furnishings are attractive, the bed is comfortable. Almost wish we were staying longer.

Clean room, nice linens, great desk clerk. Clean towels/rags for wiping down motorcycles & more. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend, would definitely stay here again. Note: open for summer only.

Great location clean rooms just wish we could pick what floor we could stay on. Very nice employees rooms are quiet and close to the shops in town. Will stay again. Staff was very nice.

Hotel was very clean, staff was very nice and friendly. Perfect location on the boardwalk. Somewhat dated and basic but so much to see and do in the area, all you need is a shower and bed. If you’re a techie, the WiFi and tv are not the best but who goes to the Black Hills to watch tv.

Nice cute, clean, cozy, homey feeling room. The very nice front desk clerk was very kind when I made the reservation, she just so happened to be the same person checking us in, she was extremely friendly and full of things to do and places to eat around the area. Very accommodating to my requests. Thank you so much for the great stay. Highly recommend this place.

Love the convenience to everything; shops, resto, bikers view, Mt Rushmore and other fun activities. Room was clean and spacious. The cons..it is expensive, a very old hotel, everything inside is stil as old as it was built. It needs a overhauling inside out or demolish then rebuild. If you have big luggage it's hard to get to the second floor. It has great potential to a 5 star though.
