This hotel is very good choice. Staff and security were absolutely amazing and helpful. I felt very welcomed and happy with my time here.

Fall motorcycle trip
We were on a motorcycle trip with another couple. They let us park out front for convenience and security! The breakfast was very good both days. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable.

Nice hotel. There are a few places to eat within a block, but not much beyond that. Breakfast was good at the hotel. Would stay again.

My wife and I enjoyed a two-night stay at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Parkersburg, West Virginia from June 13-15, 2025. The suite was very clean with like-new appointments. The king-size bed was super comfortable. The bathroom and shower were spotless. Generous closet space. Plenty of convenient parking. The breakfast fare was delicious with both hot or cold choices. Definitely a five-star experience and we would gladly stay there again.

Hotel is in a great location within walking distance to downtown and this is why we picked to stay here, and also we are Marriott Members. The check In staff was polite and nice. We were on the 4th floor and our room smelled really strong of vinegar. It was not the cleanest marriott we have stayed in, the appliances were all smeared and gross looking, the tile floor had dirt all pushed against the baseboard, baseboards were all damaged and there was mold like substance in the shower. The room was nice and spacious and the bed was comfortable. The hotel has free breakfast which is your typical terrible hotel breakfast. There aren't alot of options in parkersburg to stay and this location is convenient, just not the cleanest Marriott I have stayed in
