Lovely hotel / inn with huge stylish bedrooms and fantastic bar with open fire. Food (fresh pizza) was amazing - some really interesting flavours. Breakfast fresh and very hearty. Highly recommended! Can’t remember the last time I went to a hotel this good.

Askham is a beautiful village away from the busyness of the Lakes, yet within the National Park and a short hike from Ullswater. The pub is a really lovely place to stay; it’s very comfortable and welcoming with good facilities. We had a brilliant pizza in the bar and breakfast was lovely. All of the staff were really friendly and made the whole thing feel nice and relaxing.

Only stayed one night, couldn’t get a drink at bar as was after 10 when the bar closes, seemed a bit petty given we were residents. Breakfast was good and room facilities great.
我们从普利桥去洛瑟城堡的路上，顺路在这儿停了下来。我们喝了几杯酒，决定每人吃一份自制披萨。我点了夏威夷披萨，我未婚夫点了芝麻菜和马苏里拉奶酪披萨。我们点了冬季凉拌卷心菜和厚切薯条作为配菜，味道鲜美，烹饪得恰到好处。我们路过这里很多次，但从来没想过要进去。以后我们打算步行去皇后头吃点东西，喝点东西，然后再步行回普利桥，这样步行体验会更好。
周六我们在最爱的餐厅吃了一顿超赞的披萨。氛围、服务、食物、啤酒和葡萄酒都棒极了！强烈推荐！我们很幸运离这家店这么近。非常感谢。我们一定会再来的。

住宿非常愉快舒适。熟食早餐的选择有点有限。
