We spent ten days at Aranya Jungle Resort from 9th to 19th February, and it was exactly the kind of immersive Dooars experience we had hoped for. Situated at the edge of Gorumara forest, the resort offers a genuine sense of being close to nature while still providing all modern comforts. The wooden architecture, abundant greenery, and open spaces create a calm and refreshing atmosphere. Our room was large, tastefully appointed, with a well-designed bathroom and all contemporary amenities. The high-speed Wi-Fi was dependable — a pleasant surprise in a forest-side setting. Over the years, both the surrounding area and the resort itself have developed positively. What was once a quiet village has grown modestly, yet the essential charm of the Dooars remains intact. The resort has clearly invested in upgrading its facilities without losing its character. A special word of appreciation for Mr. Rajashish Chatterjee and his team. The hospitality was warm, personal, and consistently thoughtful throughout our stay. For travellers who appreciate greenery, birdlife, and peaceful surroundings — yet prefer comfort and good infrastructure — Aranya Jungle Resort is a strong choice in the Dooars. We left feeling rested and inspired.

I never stayed at this property, but I had called to enquire about a possible future reservation because the pictures online made it look promising. Unfortunately, that single phone call was enough to ensure I will never step foot here. The person who answered the call was unbelievably rude, dismissive, and arrogant. The tone felt as if he was doing me a favour or paying me to stay, rather than the other way around. There was absolutely no courtesy, no basic hospitality, and no professionalism, something one expects at the very first point of contact in the hospitality industry. If this is how potential guests are treated even before booking, I can only imagine the experience after check-in. First impressions matter, and in this case, it was a complete deal-breaker. I will not be staying here, not even to “try it out,” and I will actively advise friends and family to avoid this place. Hospitality starts with respect something clearly missing here.

Overall very good experience staying here . Nice staff behaviour, clean rooms, and most importantly you will get a proper feel of staying in jungle. Food quality is good. Need to improve waiting period at restaurant.

Located right on the main road on entrance to lataguri..and pretty close to safari point.. they have a wall adjacent to forest which gives u a gr8 scenic view of trees. We were lucky to see peacock from our rooms and then on our last day an army of monkeys passed by as well… the resort is pretty decent with gr8 staff.. perfect for family outing.. they have a barbecue also for night fun .. we cooker smoked maggi for ourselves…

Awesome experience, prime location ,good ambience, yummy and authentic food with reasonable price,very humble and helping behavior of the resort staff.... really enjoyed a lot......highly recommend price worthy
