Overall a great value. Clean room, great location close to historic Manteo. Wonderful and responsive staff. Well equipped gym. Only complaint was there was no mattress cover which I find to be substandard for a Wyndham.

Staff was not very hospitable and we asked when our room would be cleaned we were told they did not have maid service then another front desk employee told us rooms are cleaned every 3 days . We were they 4 nights and our room was never cleaned. We had to bring our dirty towels to the desk and get fresh ones. It was not worth the money we paid.

I had reserved a King room but when I got to my room, it had double beds. I asked at the front desk and was told they were out of King beds. Normally, I would expect to be told about this at check-in. The room had a very strong smoke smell and there was an old air purifier rubbing the entire time, but the smoke smell didn’t go away.

I will make sure our staff knows to advise guests in advance if there is a room change. I wish we could catch everyone who smokes in our rooms, when we do, they are charged a $250 smoking fee, if the credit card does not decline. Again our sincere apologies. Hotel Manteo

Nice hotel. Went to see the play one of the nights we were there. So convenient to there and other historical areas.
