Fantastic stay. Room and bathroom were excellent. Pub, food and staff were also excellent. Great value for money. I would recommend.

Our stay was ruined by the staff playing loud music until after midnight despite the restaurant having closed at 9:30pm. This only stopped when I complained and even then there was no apology. Clearly a place that just doesn’t care about customers. This was a Monday night. We will not stay again.

Excellent rooms and food. Food was exceptional and Kai the Chef was fantastic and helpful. Couldn't have asked for anymore. We had evening meal and a cooked breakfast, cooked to a high standard and fantastic ingredients. Nas the waitress Couldn't do enough for us and was so hard working and a dedicated member of staff.

Excellent place. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel and gardens very well kept. We were in room 12 this time which had loads of room and great facilities but view over road not great. Breakfast fabulous and plentiful. Whole place spotlessly clean and would definitely return

We came here for my birthday tea with family. We were astonished when the bill came at the price of the Shiraz red wine- £11.75 for one glass!!!!!!!This is a basic restaurant and the price of drinks should reflect that. With these prices hospitality will be finished!

Stayed here recently whilst visiting with family in Leeds. Spent a pleasant weekend here. Was worried by some of the other reviews mentioning noise from other rooms, but didn’t hear a peep (room 6). Will definitely request this room again in future, or maybe we just got lucky with a quiet weekend. Nice and clean, plenty big enough room, comfy bed, great location. Plus a nicely stocked bar and a decent restaurant downstairs. Will definitely stay again. Staff very friendly too.

Smallish hotel with pub and restaurant. Situated on the main road entering Calverley from Leeds. Lots of parking around the hotel site. Large bedroom. Hotel team were most welcoming and happy to have a conversation. Breakfast and evening meal was wholesome with large portions.

Arrived after attending a family funeral, the check-in process was slow and outdated requiring printing and signatures - very 1980’s!! Given the keys to our room (7) and told where the rooms were. Got into the room and after walking along warm corridors it was absolutely freezing in there! We quickly changed and went down to have some food, asking the Manager to have a look at the heating in our room (after we had checked the radiator was turned up to maximum). After our dinner we sought out the Manager again who still had no idea what was happening with the heating, but would come to our room and let us know. About 15 minutes later he knocked on the door to tell us that the boiler was broken and there was nothing he could do - no offer of a portable heater or anything other than another quilt for the bed! On checking the bathroom, the shower had a lot of black mould at the bottom of it, with tiles having been replaced that didn’t match the rest of them! Also, there were stains on the ceiling in the bathroom, looking like water is leaking from somewhere above. The television was wall mounted, but the bracket is obviously old and doesn’t properly support the tv leaving you having to have the tv at a big angle and leaving you wondering if it is going to fall off! When you are paying over £100 per night room only, you expect something a little better than this!
