What a little gem we found perfect for a winters night stop over great access to walks in the area. Food in the restaurant was fantastic and breakfast equally stunning this morning.

Staff were super friendly and helpful and called before our arrival to make sure that the right type of room was being reserved for us, and then checked in again on arrival day, to see if we wanted any food pre-ordered before the restaurant closed (as we were arriving late evening). Really helpful and thoughtful.
The room was super comfortable, clean and up to date.
Would definitely stay again, if we are back in the area.

Great property and beside current canal terminus and fascinating history of latter. Lovely canal walk.
