I stayed with my mum who is in a wheelchair. The Fox provided a ramp, removeable suction hand grips, rubber shower mat and a shower seat without asking. Access via the terrace. Perfect!

Not great.

With exception of Kate who was fantastic our overall experience was disappointing. The room we stayed in had paper thin walls so we were kept awake till 2am by people chatting in the adjacent room.

Lovely stay

Really lovely comfortable room. Best air con/heating system ive encountered in a hotel ...it cooled room down quickly and quietly and equally heated it up the same.

Room was decorated well and service was great.

The only reason i have given less stars for comfort was the beds - I'm sure a lot of people would love them but i found them too hard.

We were visiting one of our sons who lives nearby. We stayed in room 7 which, although it faced the road, was very quiet. Bed was very comfortable and the linen kept us warm. Breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal. Staff were excellent, cheerful, helpful and there when you wanted them but not hovering so close as to be intrusive. If you have reason to be in the Stevenage/Hitchen/Letchworth area, STAY HERE! You won't regret it!

Well designed, well kept clean rooms however a little small room size particularly the price point. Some of the other rooms appeared bigger but ours was tight particularly given that there was no storage space so luggage had to put around the room. At £80 it would be excellent at £140 it is too expensive (this didnt include breakfast).

Fab pub with rooms - loved it

Gorgeous little hotel in the countryside, stayed due to being at a wedding close by but would visit again. Great food and service, lovely comfortable rooms. The pub also has a lovely big beer garden for when the weather is nice.

Loved our garden room, having 2 seats and a little space to sit outside was excellent. Only negative is no fridge in the room.
