Dean and Aspen were fabulous hosts and manager. Communication, warm welcome and willingness to help in any way were truly appreciated. My room was incredible, private with a magical and accessible ocean view and a table outside to enjoy outdoor eating. My room was clean, spacious, light and had all i needed with microwave and other necessary appliances. I absolutely loved my stay and will definitely go again. Oh, location was great...a short walk into town, less than a kilometre..Thanks a million Dean and Aspen.

Right on the beach and in nicely kept grounds.Beach is quite rocky though and for a beach in Australia not up to much.I can only speak for the unit we occupied,no.8,and that was one of the refurbished ones and it was very pleasant and one of the best units.A small living area,small bedroom and decent size kitchen unit that was well equipped.There is free laundry facility on site although on some booking sites it suggests there's a washing machine in each room but that's wrong.The apartment was clean.The bathroom was a good size and the toiletries supplied the best of any on our road trip up to Port Douglas.Towels were nice.Parking on site is easy.Dean the manager friendly and helpful.Room 8,and 7 come to that,do involve stairs and there's no lift so could be a problem if you have a heavy case and can't manage stairs with it.Lovely view from rooms 7 and 8. A few negatives for people to consider.One is that although you can walk into town it'll take at least 20 minutes and is a boring walk largely alongside busy roads.Second one is although there is a patio area outside room 8 it is in effect shared with room 7 and there is only one exterior light so slightly uncomfortable sitting or eating there with another couple close by and perhaps having a different view as to whether the light should be on. The third is our 2nd night there a party took place in the house next door,about 7 or 8 teenagers .They were noisy at night and at 5am woke us shouting and swearing on the beach,presumably drunk.Perhaps if Seaspray had an onsite manager who knew the owners of the neighbouring house they could have helped but as there is no on site manager we were left to rather ineffectually remonstrate with the boys.Perhaps not the responsibility of Seaspray but strangely an older woman did attend their party and she for some reason was occupying room 7 of Seaspray albeit I only saw her in the unit for about 10 minutes before returning to the party.Odd. Obviously the noise problem was just bad luck for us so ignoring that I'd say a one or two night stay is worth it.

Great accommodation right on the beach. Our apartment (No5) had both garden and beach views. Lovely to go to sleep at night listening to the sound of the waves. A small table and chairs outside each apartment makes for a great place to soak up the sun whilst having breakfast and it’s only a couple of minutes away from the main esplanade in Yeppoon. Everyone was really friendly, welcoming and helpful Would recommend

For only 3 stars I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was large and clean. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure. Unique - barn doors - they open at the top and bottom - I left the top one open for a nice breeze. It was quiet and one of the best views I’ve seen at a motel - it’s literally on the water - I sat at the guest tables of a morning and watched the sun rise - water lapping right next to me. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Free laundry - only one washer and one dryer but I was the only one using it. The motel was full.

We had an exceptional stay at Skipper Shack in Seaspray Yeppoon. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the breathtaking panoramic ocean view—a true spectacle from sunrise to sunset. 🌅 The house is spacious, modern, and fully equipped, providing all the comfort needed for a perfect stay. We highly recommend this house and can’t wait to come back! 🏡✨

Staff were very nice nice and clean massive house for cheap 10/10 would go again 50m from beach the owners come have chats to you which you don’t see very often which was good I would recommend coming here. About a five minute drive to the snorkeling boat

the location is superb. right on the beach. perfect to enjoy sunrise and sunset lights over the Rocks. Walking along at low tide looking for creatures and shells. the refurbished units are very well appointed. the bleu and white nautical theme really suits. we stayed and week and will be back.

Beachfront location about 20 mins walk to Yeppoon town centre. Units are spacious and fully equipped. Decor is basic but everywhere was clean. Grounds around the Units are neat and well maintained. Brian was helpful and friendly. Lovely cafés in town for brekkie, Lure living or Citrus, which is where we dined, delicious and great service.

We loved the position of this old property! It was great to be able to walk straight onto the beach from our ground floor unit. If you don't mind a dated unit, which nevertheless has everything you need, you will love this place! It was a great pleasure and a privilege to meet Blossom, who is a local icon!
