Don’t stay when an Hawkeyes are playing.
Nice hotel with convenient parking. We stayed one night to visit a granddaughter and paid four times the amount of a regular Saturday night due to a football game, which we did not attend. I realize that hotels can charge what they want when events bring a lot of people into town but $400+ for a regular room when the following night it goes for $104.00, is ripping off the traveling public.

Clean and Pet Friendly
Room was very clean and hotel was pet-friendly. We were put in a handicap room which was a little strange but it was easy in and out for the poodles so not really a problem. We would definitely stay here again.

My only complaint is that our room,202, had the window facing the parking lot. The parking lot had very bright security lights that shown into our room all night. As far as I could tell, there was no curtains that could be moved to block out that light. It would be nice to have blackout curtains for the room

Simple, but has everything you need.
There is a large free parking lot. The hotel is within a mile or two of most shopping, and just a few miles from the university. The bed was fairly comfortable, but it was hard to regulate the temperature of the room even though the thermostat was straightforward to operate. I appreciated the eco friendliness and the gluten free breakfast options. We didn’t try the pool or fitness area but they looked nice.

Breakfast was ok. Staff needs to double check bagels etc. One of the ones we grabbed was moldy.
