We had booked a double room at the hotel, but due to overbooking we were put in a hostel-like summer house with plastic walls, smelling of damp. No excuses, no compensation for the full price we'd paid. Otherwise, the hotel is beautifully situated in the mountains and the breakfast was good.

Great location for innumerable hikes and all kinds of biking. Amazing food, simple but spacious room. No toiletries except for a bar soap. Bathroom tiny but sufficient. A kettle to make coffee/tea would be nice. If driving, go via Hinterhelmsdorf and do not follow google maps as those lead through almost impassable backroads.
