For $150, I didn’t expect to have a 2-bed reservation become a one bed unit, or a crowded room no tv reception, a/c unit rumbling like a motorboat, no restaurants worth mentioning within 3 km, a reception desk piled high with old papers receipt books and who knows what all else . But there were at least a couple of chairs outside the door beside the rumbling a/c window unit and very little traffic noise. Overall, not at all impressed

酒店回复: Hi Cor!You were in room #7 which is a nice comfortable room with everything working as intended. The A/C is nearly new, but not silent. I would recommend you travel with earplugs. We have superb TV with hundreds of channels. If you had come to the front desk, we could have assisted you with figuring out the remote. The closest restaurant to us is 1.2 Km away and it is an excellent restaurant amongst the other good restaurants in town. If you want a motel close to a restaurant, then you need to locate one. There are several restaurants worth mentioning in town.You checked in at 9:30 PM. If you want to have a good dining experience in town, you need to check in earlier than you did.You paid $124.20 before taxes and that is a reasonable rate. There are shaded areas, gazebo and multiple lounge chairs outside in the yard away from the window. Why would you sit next to the A/C if it was bothering you?

Building was shabby looking upon arrival, with several sketchy characters lounging around drinking and carrying on outside the rooms. Then we were informed that they had over booked and our rooms weren’t available. We were taken to an alternate site that was in even worse condition, with dirt on the floors. By the time we had seen this and we going to ask for a broom , the host had left the building and gone back to the hotel. Definitely will not be coming back to this hotel again.

We apologise that we were overbooked, but we took pains to be sure you were properly accommodated and you were even given an upgrade. We gave you an additional kitchen and bathroom unit for free for your inconvenience. We are not the first motel or hotel to be overbooked and we will not be the last. It was a minor inconvenience to drive to another suitable location, literally 2 minutes down the road.Life happens. Things happen. Practice a little understanding and gratefulness. We did not tell you the town was full (and it was) and to drive to the next town to find accommodations.Your review is comical in saying that there were sketchy characters. There were guests sitting outside in the sun and visiting as you drove up in a group of motorcycles with motorcycle gear. We have never had a problem with motorcycle guys. You, better than anybody should understand the misconceptions that people have. We understand that you were hot and tired from your travel, but there are other people who wanted to sit outside and enjoy the weather with other friendly guests. By the way, there is nothing shabby about our place.

The room was clean and bed comfortable. The shower was clean and water was nice and hot. Coffee was provided in the room but no coffee mugs, sugar or creamer. But if you went to the office they did provide there.

The receptoe wasent open,while it has to be from 9 am to 22pm. So we could check in on 2 pm,
We were there on 15u30 and nobody there, all closed.
We could call, but that cost me a lot of money to call .
Coz we call by the netherlands to canada.

We are a small motel and we do not have staff available at the front desk 24/7. Usually we are onsite but even then, we can be in the middle of preparing rooms or stocking deliveries in the store room at the back and the office will be locked, hence the phone number posted on the door.It is advised to buy a local phone upon your arrival. You can do that at the airport or go to London *****. You can buy an inexpensive phone and load however many dollars you want on it so you can make local calls. They also have great customer service.We hope to see you again!

There was an issue due to unscheduled work by a utility company, but they made sure we were accommodated according to our needs and they explained why they were scrambling to look after is properly. To marks to them.
