We spent our very last night in the UK at Heathwood BnB, and it was the perfect way to end our three weeks of non-stop travelling. Being greeted by Margaret truly felt like coming home... she was warm, friendly, and genuinely interested in hearing about our trip. We even had the pleasure of meeting her family next door, who were just as lovely. Our room was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed, with all the little extras that make a stay special. The views across the township were exceptional. The handy desk area adjacent to the bedroom was perfect for making coffee, doing hair and makeup, or using devices, and the comfortable chairs made it easy to relax and watch TV. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The only thing we would have changed was the lack of a door into the bathroom/shower area for privacy, but it was easily resolved by drawing the bedroom curtains. What really stood out was Margaret’s kindness and hospitality. We were too tired to go out for dinner, and she graciously prepared us some homemade sandwiches... a thoughtful gesture that went above and beyond. The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast before heading off to the airport. A truly welcoming BnB with a host who makes you feel cared for — highly recommended!

This is an amazing b and b. Greeted by Phil and Margaret and left our luggage while we explored the Dover Castle and White Cliffs. Took a taxi from the rail station since the property is straight uphill. The apartment unit is absolutely fantastic! Cute small kitchen and separate shower from the toilet and sink. The bedroom has a sitting area for watching the TV on a couch. Margaret has you fill out a breakfast order form the night before, with a choice of English breakfast or continental breakfast. The food is superb. Never saw such huge croissants. On our departure day due to lots of traffic in town, she took us in her own car to the rail station since. We never met such wonderful hosts of any B & B. If we find ourselves back in Dover, would definitely stay here again . Thank you both again for a wonderful stay. Would give it a 10 stars.
