We have just got back from a 2 night stay here we will not be returning to this hotel anytime at all. We had 5 rooms in total all room were not up to a standard of cleanliness you would expect it to be. Beetles all over ground floor rooms. Not a very warm welcome on arrival 1 member of staff seen for the 2 days we were there same one in the restaurant and the petrol station. Food was very bland so ate elsewhere. Had to ask a number of times for fresh towels and used ones were never collected. Beds were comfortable but on the small side. One of our party were given wrong keys to somebody else’s room which was already occupied. Balcony room view was very nice. No entertainment provided as stated.

Lovely welcome from the young woman on reception. The Sri Lankan buffet was good but quite expensive. Breakfast was very over priced for the quality of food served. Instant coffee, one cup only, ( a cafetiere would of been better option to provide without incuring much extra cost) Milk cartons and packets of salt and pepper. Not usual for 4 star hotel. Room was nice, sea view, good over head shower. Could do with anti slip mat for the bath. Friendly staff . If visiting skomer island it's 1 hour away. They kindly let us have breakfast served at 8am ,so we could leave at 9. But have stayed in YHA places of better standard.

Four Stars?? Very disappointing, extremely poor value for money. I have stayed in much nicer, warm and friendly places for far less. Carpet in lounge off Reception was filthy. Staff were friendly but seemed unsure and uncomfortable in their roles. To call the Sti Lankan Buffet area a restaurant was a bit of an insult. The Buffet was very nice but overpriced. Breakfast was nowhere near worth £10. Bland sausages and Tomatoes, and instant coffee that was too hot to drink. £7 for Cereals?! Really? Poor selection too. When paying money to stay anywhere, having the plastic carton of milk plonked down on the table alongside your coffee isn't the thing to do. Salt and Pepper sachets hastily placed in a bowl? And halfway through the meal?! No additional Sauces offered for a Full English breakfast either. On the whole it seemed that minimum effort to gain maximum profit out of the hard working folk that stay there was the entire ethos of the owners. The shower screen was attached to the bath with several months of mould attached to the Sealant. The "toiletries" supplied, haphazardly placed in a rack on the wall. If you are going to charge people to stay at your Hotel, please research what your potential clientèle are likely to prefer. We couldn't wait to leave. The lack of attention to detail made us feel really unwelcome. Would not stay here again.

Well for our first taste of this cuisine we were well and truly impressed Tasty and filling in summary; A kind of cross between Indian and thai food I’d suggest for any newbies like us out there.. I have the chicken curry which was not over complicated but was simply divine. Lisa had the chicken kottu which was so hearty some of it came back home! Service was welcoming and homely I know where we are going now next time we go to St Davids!

I had a superb Sri Lankan dinner here. Delicious, fresh and excellent value. Good beer too. Service was excellent. Highly recommended for home cooked genuine Sri Lankan food. The restaurant is a bit hidden away but worth seeking out. Lovely place and people.

Just had a delicious meal at the Ocean Haze restaurant, next to the hotel. We particularly enjoyed the sambols which were zingy and fresh. We had the coconut sambol and the green chilli sambol along with our meal. A note for vegetarians- the carrot curry really is carrot, not jackfruit. The parathas were excellent. A really great meal.

Great meal at the Sri Lankan restaurant at the Ocean Haze. Such a surprise to find this little gem. A variety on the menu, good service and very good food. The Biriani was fabulous as was the lamb curry with fried rice. Starters were lovely too. Very tasty but not over spiced. We will definitely visit again.

Fantastically friendly and accommodating staff. We got stranded when the ferry was cancelled. They made us feel very welcome and the place is impeccable. The beds were so comfy and the room was lovely. Very convenient next to the garage so we could get something to eat. It’s also close enough to town for a great choice of pub food. Definitely keep this place in mind for another visit.

Absolutely amazing food tonight at the Sri Lankan restaurant attached to the Ocean Haze hotel. This place absolutely deserves to succeed. I can’t think of anything negative to say, it was simply delicious all round. This was my second visit and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
